Will it be Rice and Partey. Will it be Merino and Jorginho

Has someone built a time machine and taken us back to the choice of Hiller, Morrow, Selley and Jensen

I didn't think I'd ever see anything as dullard as GG's mid 90s robots but at least we had Wrighty back then. This is as dull to watch as anything seen since then. For Martinelli read Helder

Name one fucking team that's ever achieved anything without a proper goalscorer?
Man City won the title without one actually but they had about 5 midfielders who all got double figures in goals. Gundogan got over 20 that season I think.
Exactly right and even when we had great strikers we had midfielders who weighed in with a dozen goals each - Freddie, Pires etc

Odegaard looks like he'll struggle to ever score again, ditto Rice, Partey, Merino etc

Martinelli looks spent and Trossard awful for months now

Terrible to watch at the moment

For an hour tonight rice was like an nfl kicker - we only seen him when we had a corner or free kick and I said to myself "we paid £105m for a guy who only takes set pieces"   In fairness for the last 30 mins he tried to drive us forward, but for an hour he was shite

Same old shit from a 15 years ago. Shit tactics, no game plan, no change of approach, no fucking goalscorer, making average teams look good by creating nothing, waste of fucking time. I haven't got the fucking energy to battle this all again. Either get a goalscorer in who can score 25+ league goals a season and change the way we play or just fuck off. Let's not get dragged back to years of fucking battling and civil wars. Either do what we need or fucking fuck off.

I see that irritating Boy Band One Dimension were on at The Emirates again tonight.
Mikel is not progressing at all.
There was one tactical genius in the dug outs tonight and it wasn't ours (it never is).
We got what we deserved .
We are a shadow of what we could/should be.
Mikel your time is up. Do the honourable thing and step aside.

Every fucking game is a hard watch.

I started writing a long missive but it's all been said. I can't even be arsed to write at the moment.

I'm old school I admit, but regardless of whether you are a top team or a team fighting relegation, you need a captain who will go tro war for the team, and who the team will follow - it is no coincidence that both ourselves and manu are gutless teams cos we are both a mirror image of our captains  Just like his messiah before him, this basque clown has understated the importance of a good captain - the captain doesnt have to be your best player or even one of your best players, but he has to have real leadership qualities and odeargod is a cowardly pussy. The legohead fool got rid of every player who had personality and could lead the team because his fear was that a player like that could lead the team against him - he wanted a team of yes men who he could program and who would do as they are told and question nothing, but invariably those are the type of players who roll over and surrender when the battle rages. It is no coincidence that he hasnt won a trophy since he rid the squad of those vocal players - in every cup competition since we have caved when the pressure has come on us, and had no-one to calm the troops down and lead us to victory

You got what you wanted and spent 800m into the bargain you clueless c.unt, but we will never win another proper trophy with you even if you stay 10 more years

Yes they were more clinical - given that he STILL refuses to accept that we need a quality striker, I find it hilarious that he would refer to them being more clinical than us

I switched it over when he came on. No doubt he thinks it's amazing what the team are doing, their commitment etc

Becoming more and more like Wenger interviews every game

Odegaard displaying all the captaincy creds of Almunia

We were by far the better team. Didn’t take our chances and got caught twice. Odegaard pushed for their first. A foul. Talk of sacking Arteta is way over the top.
Top class banter there, I imagine we still beat them on expected goals and predicted corners.

Arteta is not a football manager, never was and most likely never will be, he was just hired by people who didn’t know any better, they fell for the bluster common in people who haven’t a clue but are great at selling them selves.

Let’s come back to this post end of the season and see how you feel when your lord and saviour is telling you it was all those dastardly pgmol people that caused our traditional collapse.

Like ripping a plaster off, get him out and do it now for the good of the club as like before it’s about to get a whole lot nastier before the pussys running the show have the bottle to send him packing.

Before tonight all I heard from all his apologists was the terrible injury list that we had

Well tell me barring White and Saka who would have played today? Sterling? Rwaneri? Tomiyasu?

The facts are that three of our main back four were there, first choice GK, the two main holding mids, our captain, first choice CF and Martinelli/Trossard.

There's no injury crisis. Just a crippled team led by a clueless loser playing God awful football at a snail's pace
