I’ve been converted tonight. We are going nowhere. That game summed us up. Gutless. Wasteful. No cutting edge. The likes of Partey actively looking to fuck us all game like a double agent. Literally Self Harm FC to build a defensive unit like that and then neglect the front line and recruit multiple saboteurs.

Arteta is a total cock.

All our right sided central defenders are out and Villa pretty exploited this gap. 9/10 we win this with a half decent CB pairing.

I take no joy in reading that mate. I'm genuinely sorry it has gone to this for Arteta or any Arsenal manager. The key thing now is the owners see it and act.

The squad was tight (and obviously lacking a striker) going into the season and we’ve been wiped out by injuries with Saliba being the latest - it’s already gone from “something minor” to he felt a “muscular pain” so you can take it to the bank that he’s now another one out long tee to join the never ending list.

The Merino, Calafiori, Sterling window will go down as the worst ever. No stiriker, no rotational option for Saka ( who we eventually broke as a result), no 10 in the squad other than Odegaard (who has cliff edged this season) and we’re not left with a playing squad of around 13 players who we have to play every 3 days for months on end and watch them break down one by one.

:suicide:
Add to that the madness of letting Smith-Rowe go. I'll never forgive him for that. Especially when he kept Carpark-Foot and brought in Bashem Girling. Disgusting fucking incompetence. :x

At various points in the last few weeks Liverpool have called upon Gakpo, Diaz, Salah, Jota and today Darwin to bail them out of dropping serious points

Our manager thought Havertz and Jesus would be all that we needed all year as striker options

Think that sums it up really

I wonder what the collective wages are that Zinchenko, White, Kiwior, Tomiyasu and Calafiori are taking out of this club

Loaded with defenders who are either shite or permanently injured (or both)

Meanwhile at the other end of the field we've sold Nketiah and Smith Rowe, loaned out Nelson and Vieira and brought in Sterling on loan

Honestly it's an embarrassment

I'm not advocating for kiwor here, BUT he should be sending in his transfer request TONIGHT - a centre back is injured and the cone boy plays a full back in the centre back position ahead of him, AND plays a centre midfielder ahead of him and tierney at left full. No doubt lewis skelly was one of our best players AGAIN tonight, but the reality is that moving timber into the centre pushed partey to right back and that was an accident waiting to happen. Like has been said by me (and others) a million times already, the cone boy has 14 or 15 players that he trusts and will play them out of position ahead of one of the other fools on the bench - his squad management has been a disgrace for a long time now, and I think a lot of shit will come out about him down the line
Absolutely spot on you pair..I concur wholeheartedly and I concur wholeheartedly

Absolutely no chance arteta is going anywhere when you look at where we are in the table especially compared to the other big sides. Just frustrating that we’re a few players away from the title.
Yep but the fear is we will remain so as we did multiple times during wengers time.

And the managers decisions and tactics are massive concern now
We are back where we were in 2008...always a couple of key signings away from being the finished article. We used to laugh on here about the never ending project and this one has been running for 5 years now. The next chapter of the story, as was the case back then, is that the very best players leave and the puzzle gets harder to complete
Saliba will be gone within a year for sure and that breaks up one of the best CB partnerships around
The tragedy this season (with City faltering ) is that we were probably just 1 decent striker away from winning the league.

But with the Kroenkes in charge then we will always be a bit short.

Partey is shocking. His concentration levels are a disgrace. Puts us in trouble so often

If Saliba really is going to be out, I'd put Kiwior at LB and MLS/Tierney at RB or MLS at RB and Tierney at LB.

Partey is an awful full back and a poor CDM

In Arteta's post match interview(after Spurs) he said the club were going to be active in the transfer market because as he put it "we are down two forward players", this shows the levels of incompetence we are dealing with. This cùnt didn't think we needed a striker until Jesus got injured last Sunday and now we are in mid January making enquiries into a position that should have been filled a few seasons ago. This incompetent twat shouldn't get near spending another cent at the club and after tonight if this season is going to go town the toilet then I hope it goes fully into meltdown to properly expose this arrogant spoofer, fuck off you :censored:

Can anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of physics tell me how that ball hits the underside of the arm and gets deflected UPWARDS?
I honestly thought it was his ribs,I thought he twisted just enough to miss the arm,ref couldn’t wait to overturn it though could he
Watch the camera from behind the goals. It deffo hits his right arm. To me though it's accidental and a disgrace the rule is what it is.
So they deny penalties for accidental handballs but won’t give goals for the same incident….its a total lump of ceunt

Nothing will change. I am not an Arteta fan. The bloke has neglected the front line and then I reckon he has made us hard to beat to cover for it. But the Kroenke’s won’t get rid of him. Not a chance.

Whilst Partey takes a lot of the stick tonight and rightly so, our captain's latest disappearing act has to be called out

I honestly thought I'd never see a bigger wimp or coward of a captain than Gallas ever again but seeing this limpdick go into hiding again and then just throw himself to the ground when we needed something from him was unforgiveable. Throw in the appalling free kicks too and his total goal involvement tally of 3 all season and it highlights how utterly abysmal he has been. Up there with Gallas for the wrong reasons for me

Rice or Gabriel or the only players we've got who resemble leaders in any shape or form.
