I suppose any team without fatso in it suddenly does become more creative. They've conceded the most goals in the league so far this season, so, no excuses today.augie wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 2:43 pmPerryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 1:55 pmNot sure what to make if that starting XI. Back four looks strong but apart from Nwaneri, who is 17, there isn't much in the way of creative play and the bench looks worryingly weak.
I understand and agree with your thinking, BUT it is a more creative starting 11 than in our last game - trossard is miles ahead of fat chav, and Nwanieri looks more creative on the ball than our disappearing captain does these days

Yes, I’m also quite happy with the line up. I’m not overtly anti Odegaard, but he hasn’t been producing this season and I was only thinking earlier this week that it would be interesting to play Nwaneri in that position.augie wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 2:43 pmPerryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Sat Jan 25, 2025 1:55 pmNot sure what to make if that starting XI. No fan of Partey, but we’re hardly spoilt for choice in centre mid.
No idea how this game turns out.

By all accounts odegaard has a dose or a fever or something.
Can’t really blame him for picking up a bug can ya……

Havertz leading the line
"Arteta actively looking for the right striker" Sounds Wengeresqueish......ie. couldn't find the right one so it's better to wait.
A week until the window closes.....I wonder when he realized we needed a striker....probably last week.

It's OK, she'll be off at half-time to go and put the dinner on.

Re: Wolves wankstains A Sat 25th Jan KO 3pm
Havertz, header and wide. Hardly a fucking surprise.

Re: Wolves wankstains A Sat 25th Jan KO 3pm
And the screechy bird commentator actually said “seemed inevitable that Havertz would score there”! Has she seen him before?
