Hammering by Madrid in the 1/4 ers with Mikel Merino up top

How the fuck did it come to this? Ok I know the answer Arteta last summer for starters .

It’s like the league ffs it’s there for the taking again isn’t it but we aren’t going to be the ones again .

If we get to play Madrid I will be delighted.
I really think the PSV match will be difficult though. I reckon we would have beaten Feyenoord, but PSV is a different matter

Said to my mate lastnight that the ideal draw would be Feyenoord as they're not as good as PSV..and that hopefully Bayern and Leverkusen drew eachother and we could face them in the quarters..Further on from that..be in the opposite half from the dippers*..I should've kept my fucking gob shut  I can see us getting past PSV but it'll be tight much like Porto last year..Then it'll be one of the Madrid's..it won't matter one iota of a fuck which one cos it'll be adiós Gooners for another season..Edit* just had another butchers at the draw and if we manage to make the quarters and then by some miracle then make the semis..the first legs of both the semi and quarter would be at our place..When you.look at it the draw couldn't really have went any worse :rubchin: Makes mockery of going full tilt balls in to get a higher finish..Inter have a far more favourable route.Next season Mikel(cos we all know you'll still be here regardless of how the season ends) just do the bare minimum in the big lugs..and concentrate more fully domestically.

Such a borefest this competition for us - always been shite in it. As has been said above, we will probably make hard work of PSV but go through. Then it will be Real Madrid and either a draw or narrow loss at home followed by going out with a whimper over there. Yay, so exciting this new format

Can see PSV doing us over 2legs if I'm honest..Pumped by a couple of goals over there then a draw at ours.
