Why doesn't he just shut up?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

"Come November when we hit our rocky patch"...............

If we don't sign a decent central midfielder I think our rocky patch will hit earlier than normal!!
Can't believe our squad is so light!

Not sorry to see Hleb go but we DO need a good player in his place, not a 20 year old with a bit of potential!

we are a big club with a small club mentality, never built on our success the way other clubs have in the past and nothing is going to change as long as our board and arsene wenger refuse to take us up to the next level and stop buying kids and replacing star players with lesser lights
ok hlebs a dick, ades a dick and £lamini is a dick but none of these players that left should be good enough for us in the first place  , and as long as that continues then we will flatter to deceive, yes we might be top for a while, but wont win, might do well in europe, but wont win, :banghead:

past tense, we cant go on living in the past if we are to progress as a club on the field of play, after the unbeaten season the club should have got stronger but didnt, selling your best players and replacing them with cheaper as done what :?: one fa cup win win in 4 seasons :banghead:

same can be said for chelsea after winning the league twice in a row. they ended with nothing as well, only they spent millions and millions doing it. I would rather be in our position, we are on the way up, not down.

Real Madrid tried consolidating after winning the CL around 2000 or 2001, bought a load of big names and ended up doing F-all.

Its not about buying the big names, its about good players playing as a team. Which is what arsenal do best, as long as we keep a core of very good (arguably great) players like Cesc, RVP, Toure, and Clichy we will always be there or there abouts.

We had a great season last season. People say you need experience to win the league. Trust me, the way we lost the league last season is as good an experience for the youngsters as actually winning it. I dont see the group allowing themselves to throw a similar position away if it comes down to that again. They will dig deeper this season in the games it really matters.

Less chance of having 3 player's out for most of the season like we did with Ed,Rosicky and VP. (Well Rosicky might manage 1/2 a season)
