There is no amnesty for yellow cards tonight,if any of our players on 2 yellow cards coming into this game get another yellow card tonight, they will miss the 1st leg of the SF ,after the game tonight all yellow cards are wiped out, now obviously a player getting a red tonight will miss the 1st leg of the semis

Me too and I posted before the 1st leg I thought we'd go through and now I'm even more nervous, mainly because if we fuck this up we will never live it down and I might have to move to outer Mongolia

It’s always good when someone provides a silver lining to a possible cloud.

Much as I try not to give too much of a f+++ about what is said on social media and the mainstream press/media, our European record is a source of major embarrassment. To have only reached the CL semi final stage twice in history is abysmal and not to have won a European trophy of any kind in 31 years is equally abysmal given English football's standing in Europe, financial advantage, and the fact that in recent years we've been in the Europa.

Time to get that monkey off our back ! :barscarf:

I suppose to be fair our golden era was the 1930s.
If European competitions had existed back then we would probably have won 2 or 3 European Cups.
The 85-90 euro ban also did us no favours, but credit to George Graham - he did actually win one.
The embarrassment in Europe is probably Wenger, he should have led us to more finals than he did.

Apologies for my misunderstanding of the yellow card rules. Thanks to those correcting my error.

I have a feeling that if we can keep it at 0-0 for at least 30 mins, then their players will start to get frustrated and pick up bookings. If we score first and/or are still 3-0 up with 20 or less minutes to go, expect some brutal challenges from them and maybe a red card.

Of course, they'll also be diving all over the gaff from the first whistle to get us booked.

That comment stands alone, whether discussing Europe or anything else.

When we win this :barscarf: I suspect the RM whore's will look to gain revenge by tapping up Saliba from now until the transfer window, the spiteful fuckers :cussing:

I'm actually quite relaxed about this.

The longer it's 3-0 the more they will start to panic and I can see us getting 2 on the break, 1 in each half. 8)

2 -0 to us on the night, 5-0 on aggregate.

Get the fuck in and bring on PSG

Nurse, bring my meds :D

Shame it's on TNT cos I hate that twat commentator Fletcher, worst commentator out there, although Peter Drury on Sly isn't far behind :censored:
What if they score early. And then again? No guarantee we keep it goalless for a long time. Anything could happen.

I would suggest You start Drinking Very Heavily and Frequently Rodders.... If we go through you can just Top Up... If we don't (And I am Sure we will!) You Can even enjoy the Hangover Tomorrow...
I have severe Wayne Bridge coupled with Paris 06 PTSD from this competition that will continue to haunt me forever.

That Chelsea quarter final was a horror game to watch.

1-1 at their place in a game we should have won and should have been 2 or 3 goals up at half time at our place, rather than just 1-0. Chelsea weren't in it at all in the first half at ours, but once they equalised, from a corner if I remember correctly, we imploded. We clearly didn't know what to do. The players knew they had to score to win the game, but were clearly terrified of conceding another away goal. Consequently, it was total inertia. You just knew the chavs would score and when they did, it was too late for a reaction.

Strangely, I felt worse after losing that QF than I felt after losing the final.

That was our best chance to win the CL ,better even than when we lost to Barca in the final.

We've never gone into knockout stage clge second leg lead against the best in Europe with such a lead It feels strange, wrong and I still can't help thinking it will end like so many before.

You know what Mc, I've said it on here before, but if we had done the chavs and then Monaco in the semi, we'd have nailed on lost to Mourinho's Porto in the final. Dark arts at their most diabolical and he was way too smart for Wenger...as we soon found out.
