Absolutely spot on with everything apart from a terrible penalty and a mix up from Saliba and Raya. It was a pure masterclass. Far too good for them.Arsenal Till I Die wrote: ↑Wed Apr 16, 2025 9:24 pmCatching up on the thread now - we were genuinely THAT good tonight?

That scouse c.unt McManaman trying to downplay it and say how poor Madrid were. Don't remember anyone saying that when the draw was made or after they knocked City out
If we'd lost we would have been the world's biggest bottlers, instead Madrid were just poor. Go fuck yourself you bin dipping c.unt !!

That’s truly brilliant and I’m so so proud of us. I hate not watching but I feel superstitious about watching as we seem to do well in Europe if I don’t. Might have to abstain against PSG too

Oh what a night...So fucking happy...Rice was immense, as was Timber snd MLS...But honourable mentions for Kiwior and Merino...Partey was solid, but fucking ridiculous yellow card. Two great goals...One gripe, there was three uncharacteristic mistakes from Saliba, one led to the goal...However we will forgive him that.
On we go.....

Don't want to get negative, but thought the same thing about Saliba. Shaky at times tonight and not been on his best form recently. Still, no harm tonight.

Make this fucking count now. We can fucking win this.
Dont often disagree with you perry, but I am stunned that you think that odeargod was good tonight - he was weak as water all night and was a passenger in both legs. I know I am a long term critic of the guy but I think his performances in the last few months have really highlighted the fact that he isnt good enough and will never be

What's been so fucking impressive has been that we've produced two absolutely brilliant but completely different performances against the holders. We gave them about five minutes in the game over two legs. It was complete domination and control over 180 minutes.

You said you wouldn't watch ATID and were as good as your word. No watching against PSG either my friend.

Not a fan of Merino, but very good tonight. Kiwior didn't point a foot wrong and didn't let us down in either game, but I've always had a soft spot for the guy.
Fucking elated, brilliant.

I know what you mean and he was ineffective for long periods but didn't drift, didn't try anything silly on the edge of the box. Not high class by any stretch but decent enough. Probably decent is the word. Compared to Rice, Partey and MLS he was OK. Nothing more.
