I dont know why I believe we can turn in a performance and get a result - yes we can point to the madrid games as how we can play when we fully focused and committed to the cause, but in reality those have been the exception rather than the rule so logic dictates that we should be going on the overwhelming evidence we have, and that paints a bleak story. I just think that the players will know that last week they simply did not turn up, and I think pride alone will drive the likes of timber, rice, saliba, lewis-skelly to demand a much better team performance from their team-mates. Maybe some will view this as harsh (I dont), but I'm not expecting any kind of positive reaction from captain invisible - he has had too many shit performances without any kind of bounce back the following week to suggest that he has that determination in him, and tbh I doubt he even has the self awareness to realise how shit he has been

It's Inter in the final should miracles happen and we get there too it will not be easy.
The similarities between us and Barca are quite obvious . They have Yamal and we have Saka , Olmo feeds their starboy and Odegaard feeds ours sometimes .However they have better finishers but were not strong enough and Inter were quicker and more physical should we get there I don't fancy our chances.

I have no idea what's going to happen because we are more than capable of going there and winning 2-0 or 3-1 or something. On the other hand, we're just as likely to see us create absolutely nothing and end up drawing 0-0. Either way, it's a real barometer match for Arteta, get it right and he's in a European Cup Final, get it wrong and it will add to the narrative of him not being able to raise us or get a performance out of us when it matters. It's going to be a night of decisions and managerial abilities because in terms of players, we should be better. It's the things that a manager can or can't do, that could very well make the difference tonight and I'm not sure that I have enough confidence in Arteta to get us into the final.
