Rob, the Europa when cl teams dropped down into it so completely different...

This is like pulling the big fat ugly bird in a club and boasting about it afterwards as any holes a goal.

Utter nonsense from ugly blokes who have to sink to such depth to get there dicks wet.

Just repeat that to any scum fans will properly annoy them as they know it's true.

Fair enough Mantis, but what if you're a reasonably good looking bloke, but not good looking enough to pull the stunning birds that you fancy like mad and have to watch as you leave the club every Saturday and your good looking mates are taking those birds home? Do you look across at the ugly bloke who's taking the ugly bird home and think "well, at least I'm not him", as you walk home alone to knock one out in your cold, single bed.

It's your analogy mate. We might not be the ugly bloke with the ugly girl, but we ain't pulling the stunners either, even though our mum (Arteta) keeps telling us to iron our shirt a little bit better next week and we're bound to pull a super model. All we're pulling is our own cock.

6 wins in the premier league out of the 26 games Amorim has been in charge.

That performance tonight guarantees he’s gone.

Beat Bodø Glint and the worst united team since they were relegated to win this.

17th and in next season’s champions league. Shambolic shit.

This all stems from the European super league. To try to stem that UEFA bloated the champions league with more clubs and then extended it even further by providing a safety net in this shite competition for anyone who managed to find themselves outside the top 36 clubs in Europe.

Joke.
Whilst I don’t want to defend the scum there were still some top sides in it.
3rd in the bundesliga
4th in La liga
5th and 6th in serie A

Will we have to go through all this nonsense again next week when the Chavs win the Europa Conference League South Windscreen Vans Shield with people getting all depressed that we weren't in it?

I don’t particularly rate the Europa League in its current format, the UEFA Cup back in the 80s and 9ps was arguably harder to win than the old school European Cup. I feel like the EL carried a certain amount of prestige until fairly recently, but now without Champions League teams in it, the English teams in it should be winning it/contesting the final every season, what with the financial disparity between Premier League teams and the majority of the rest of Europe.

That said it still stings a little. If we had a couple of European Cups under our belt and had won the UEFA Cup in 2000, for example, I wouldn’t be remotely bothered about tonight. But our European trophy haul is incredibly underwhelming as a big club. Spurs need to fluke one more game and they could have a European Super Cup too. And I don’t expect us to drop down into the EL anytime soon (and I wouldn’t want us too) so it’s the champions league or nothing for us in terms of Europe.

We’ll probably forget this within a few weeks (or days!) I suspect and if we win the league next season it’ll be but a distant memory.

Lot of pressure on Arteta now, he has to deliver next season.

Last season was,I think, the last season that teams dropped from the Champions League into the Europa. And it shows. Last season Atlanta beat Liverpool on the way and then the newly crowned Bundesliga champions in the final..Bilboa fucked up v United otherwise it was , well it was a third rate competition won by a third rate team which is proven by their domestic league position.
Spurs taunting Arsenal tonight, it is like Orient taunting West Ham if Orient win the playoff.

Very different Perry.

Firstly, like them or loathe them, they're not the scum. Secondly, I don't think their fans will treat it as the big deal that scum fans will treat this win. Thirdly, no CL place with the trophy. Fourth, they aren't in the desperate financial mess that the scum are in and this CL qualification will seriously help them.

I for one, would rather the chavs don't win it, but won't lose a minutes sleep if they do.

Fair enough Mantis, but what if you're a reasonably good looking boke, but not good looking enough to pull the stunning birds that you fancy like mad and have to watch as you leave the club every Saturday and your good looking mates are taking those birds home? Do you look across at the ugly bloke who's taking the ugly bird home and think "well, at least I'm not him", as you walk home alone to knock one out in your cold, single bed.

Well considering the fat bird isn't let into the club we are in then no. We can't pull the fat bird even if we wanted to, which we don't. Yet pulling her is nothing to boast about. We should rather be proud of not stopping to those depths imo as we have had to fail massively to get there. So it's like beating ourselves up that someone else has pulled something we didn't want in the first place, we have in the past pulled decent birds or got smelly fingers at least, yet because of a drought do we really want to resort to the dregs, or more accurately get jealous of those having the dregs, and boasting about it? Makes no sense.

Would you rather win a bunch of 2nd rate trophies...well 1 in this instance, or get close and have the potential possibility of winning something good? Maybe if they kept winning them, but they are not, and we were really as bad as some make out, we are not and we all know we could be fixed in an instant with the right man in charge.
And are we pssd off that whomever one the fa trophy or ldv vans and we didn't? If not why not? Are we pssd of when Chelsea win the conference or when west ham won it? No we laughed at west ham as did the scum.

Are we losing our shit about palace winning the fa cup? No. Yet that a decent achievement evens despite it's devalued status of big clubs not taking as seriously as they once did.

It's the zenith data systems of Europe. Don't have to achieve anything to enter and the better teams are excluded. Even the league cup has more cachet/difficulty.

Have them something meaningful and then we can beat the club with it.

Not being overtly bothered about this doesn't mean we are happy with our own club.

Yes they won a trophy, but an utterly 2nd rate trophy.

As do the scum fans. They no it's 2nd rate. Didn't have to win anything to get in, didn't have to beat anyone decent to win it since the cl clubs were removed.

I think some on here were.

Yes there will be media and scum fan noise for a while. Buts it's easy to burst the bubble by simply stating facts. Weakest Europa league ever full of dross.and when they continue to be shite next season it will all be forgotten.
