Well considering the fat bird isn't let into the club we are in then no. We can't pull the fat bird even if we wanted to, which we don't. Yet pulling her is nothing to boast about. We should rather be proud of not stopping to those depths imo as we have had to fail massively to get there. Would you rather win a bunch of 2nd rate trophies...well 1 in this instance, or get close and have the potential possibility of winning something good? Maybe if they kept winning them, but they are not, and we were really as bad as some make out, we are not and we all know we could be fixed in an instant with the right man in charge.

Are we losing our shit about palace winning the fa cup? No. Yet that a decent achievement evens despite it's devalued status of big clubs not taking as seriously as they once did.
It's the zenith data systems of Europe. Don't have to achieve anything to enter and the better teams are excluded. Even the league cup has more cachet/difficulty.
Have them something meaningful and then we can beat the club with it.
