This is definitely worth a watch... as long as you can get past having to occasionally listen to that ScouseCunt 'spit the scouse' and Rat Face neville

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFR07iPUnZM

As usual with YT the Ads can be a pain in the derrière, but it is definitely a Very Good watch.

about 3 years ago we was playing terrific football, really thrashing teams.....going great but got derailed with the saliba injury...yes we needed additions but the team went for it....

then billy big bollocks said we need to change ,,,,its not good enough we need to control games....all around possession football...passing out from goalkeeper.....lots of sideways short passing...basically boring shit

yes and opposing teams are now set up accordingly....defend like crazy.... then the quick break..FFS southampton were doing it on sunday....scored one and could have easily had a second

then with that type of game theres a chance the opposition makes a rare breakaway and score...with very litte chances....

manager is out of his depth...FFS you only have to mention that lazy shit sterling to prove he has no idea
The team we certainly mirrored in attacking play last season was of course MA mentor Pep's MC, we certainly have a better defence than them but the forward play if you can call it that. Slow, sideways possession based that counts for sfa if not moving the opponents around, easy for the opponents to just sit in and counter, frustrate.

Games like Newcastle even the one we beat them they had chances by doing all of the above and had they taken the lead a draw at best for us, unlike the loss in the PL and both cup games, Howe had us worked out. Newcastle a good side, coached to exploit the same mistakes we made in three games against them all similar ways. The 2nd leg of the SF we had resigned ourselves we were out.

Other end WHU home a game had we of won we would of put a bit of pressure on Liverpool. Succumbed to the one decent attack we faced after playing totally low intensity football and that was that.

It's reoccurring and the theme and nature is so blindingly obvious.

No Mantis, no! You're wrong. No one is available.

The rules clearly state that we must stick for years with a failing manager, because "Who else is there?".

As a side note, having to carry the likes of Remi Garde and Gilles Grimandi....amongst others....showed how good Paddy was. An absolute colossus and Wenger could have signed me to play next to him and probably got away with it.

Ferguson wanted to sign him in 2001 and play him alongside Scholes. That could well have been the best centre mid partnership we've ever seen.

Not having that. Grimster was actually quite an effective player in his limited way when utilised in centre mid in later years. and I'm not a revisionist hipster who has the cultist thing for him

Remi Garde was fine. Average player hardly played. Better than hillier/Shelley/Jensen or whomever other shite rioch and final days George had in there.

Both sub-optimal and average at best. Like I said, Paddy could make anyone look far better than they were. How would you have fancied Garde and Grimandi as our midfield pairing? :speechless:

For those who can't wait to see him gone, you'd better pray he blows the majority of our budget on Sesko, because if that happens and its a rotation with him and Havertz, then he's well and truly cooked his own goose
