The thing is whilst I like how he does what he does, the utter brilliance of his songs are (for me) often demonstrated when they are covered by other artists, such as 'All Along The Watchtower' covered by Hendrix...or 'Father of Night, Father Of Day' by Manfred Manns Earthband' ... I remember when he released Two Supreme albums within a year or so each other: "Desire" (1976) and "Blood On The Tracks" (1975)...both albums of the Highest Quality and HUGELY Influential on so many Artists of the time...even on the Punk bands at the time... when Johnny Rotten & Steve Jones (Sex Pistols) and Joe Strummer & Mick Jones of The Clash later citing Dylan as a "Major Influence" on them as musicians and as people ....
In the Mid-70's I did volunteering teaching (English - Spoken and written) in a small village in Northern Mexico (A Break Year which Contributed to my Degree ) and I took a load of Cassettes (remember them!?

I was just listening to his 2020 release 'Rough & Rowdy Ways' a 2 CD release the 2nd disc is one 20+ minute track "Murder Most Foul"... all about the assassination of JFK... in and of itself a Brilliant, Brilliant song...
