As has already been said, it’s not his fault that Lego Head has ridiculously spent 52m on him and the supporters shouldn’t turn on him without giving him a chance.

However, he won’t get much of a honeymoon period, because like it or not, the supporters are sick of buying Chelsea rejects and especially for an inexplicable 52m and to be honest, you can’t blame them. Not the player’s fault, but not the fans’ fault either. Unfortunately, if he starts off with 2 or 3 bang average (or worse) games, then he’ll get the bird quickly.

In truth, it should be Arteta that the fans turn on.

As for being another Henry, no chance. He’s not a kid, he’s 23 and has so far shown nothing to suggest he’ll be anything special.

I know it’s not a popular transfer but I’m not taking the piss out of this kid. We also had so many take the piss out of Havertz and whilst he’s not a top striker, he’s been worth the money spent. We shall see if this lad is capable.

It's a strange signing alright. I haven't watched enough of this kid to make much of a comment about his ability or not tbh, so haven't jumped on him yet, but he will need to hit the ground running as we haven't had a proper boo-boy for a while.

Diet Pep's transfer business is fucking woeful and based on that alone, this decision should have the alarm bells ringing. Not the kid's fault, but it's professional sports and he will be paid a fortune and will need to deliver and fast.

And the fact that the fee is £50m, he ain't gonna be a benchwarmer, so who will be dropped? Unless Diet Pep sees him as a replacement for Jesus to play anywhere across the front?

I think this is a rotten signing.Not because he is ex-Chelsea we wouldn't be moaning if we signed Cole Palmer.No my problem is he isnt that good. Oh but he played for England our dopey fans tell us so did Callum fucking Chambers.This is another vanity signing by Arteta like Sterling. And there is no way in a million years that Madueke is better than Nwaneri. Also we found £50m to buy Madueke but we are penny pinching over the signings of players we really need Eze and Goykeres.
