Freddie Stays!

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Do you wanna bet on that, U.F.G??

A couple of players have donated all their testimonal income to charity, and some make a contribution. But to claim that all players now give all the money raised by their testimonial to charity is not only wishing thinking - because most could afford to do it - but also just plain wrong!!

ok, saying it all goes to charity is a bit much, as you know i'm prone to exaggeration. the test of whether he's arsenal through and through will come after he retires. Dennis didn't have to buy a box at the new stadium and go to the games, but he did, why? Because he actually is arsenal through and through, dont write freddy off just yet, he may well prove to be the same.

Honestly now I dont know what caused the sudden change of mind within a few days. Maybe staying in london was the factor and realising he was only going to be a squad player too

Bergkamp has given his testimonal money for a few charties such as Bob Wilson's & Johan's
He's even giving my Grandad's boxing club £60k & Arsenal are putting towards two brand new football pitches at the back of his club
We must thank Quin for this really as he was the first player to give all his testimonal money away to charity insted of having the money as a benefit game
I don't know what players have done with there money (expect Arsenal ones hehe), i know Keane bought each player on his testimonal £70k watches or something like that to each of them
As i said & i'll say it again
It's a shame we never had a match for him but he's not quit the game at least so he prob/might do another Vieria, return & play shite hehe, same goes for Thierry & others

So, Freddie is 'Arsenal through and through' is he? Brings to mind that old adage: 'Actions speak louder than words'!!

God it's taken me a long time but after nearly fourty years, I've finally woken up. After the Henry saga I don't believe a fudging word any of them say, and I suggest none of you fellow gooners do either. Trust me, it will save us so much pain and anguish in the long run.

Next time we hear an Arsenal prostitute - because that's what most of them are - professing their total loyalty to, and undying love for the club, take it all with a pinch of salt (even if they do have red hair!!). It's only a matter of time before that same player will be seeking to leave for whatever bullshit reason they think they can get away with.

As stated in an earlier post, the only people 'Arsenal through and through' are the fans - the likes of me and you!! All the rest is just bollocks!!!
