This from the Kremlin
Arsène Wenger may draft Mikael Silvestre and Alex Song into his squad for the weekend trip to Fulham.
The recent acquisition from Manchester United could be involved, although the manager was wary of a slight injury, while Alex Song is definitely included after his Olympic exploits with Cameroon ended at the Quarter-Final stage.
"I am not sure about Silvestre as he has a little muscular problem, but Song is [in the squad]," said Wenger at his pre-match press conference.
Samir Nasri is also likely to be involved despite missing the French victory over Sweden in midweek. Apart from that Wenger's squad is likely to remain the same.
Impossible to predict the line up for once. Definites should be
Almunia, Sagna, Clichy, Gallas, Theo, Adebayor. Other than that who knows. Any thoughts?
BTW Silvestre injured.
Just allowing you to show some initative matey.
Cor, don't I do enough for you guys? You'll be wanting me to wipe your arse next!!
I really don't see why people are against using Song as a dm for this one, the position he plays for his country and where we bought him as? Would you rather have Eboue in there or a Denilson-Ramsey partnership instead? He worries me at cb, he does well enough but he looks like a midfielder playing at cb so why not let him play in his natural role? Of course, depending on jet lag and fitness, no use playing him if he is going to fall asleep or come off exhausted after five minutes
My team, fitness permitting and assuming Van Persie has recovered from his knock is:
Almunia
Sagna-Gallas-Djorou-Clichy
Walcott-Song-Denilson-Nasri
Ade-Van Persie
Subs: Fabs, Toure, Silvestre, Eboue, Ramsey, Vela, Nic
Should be tougher then last season, new keepers, new strikers, strong midfield including Bullard, not too sure about Fulham's centrebacks but if we give Gera the amount of chances Hull did, we will lose. Should be entertaining at least

I would be a tad suprised if Eboue didn't start ahead of Theo. It's an away game, and therefore, I think Wenger might go with caution, and if necessary, throw Theo on with 20mins remaining. (of course, this is assuming that Nasri is fit to start)
It'll be interesting, because you might find Eboue in centre midfield again (which would mean Theo on the right) and also, I wonder whether Wenger will stick with Djourou or revert back to a Gallas/Toure partnership.
