I would be happy to give Song a run in the centre of midfield. He has done fine for his country when playing there. And besides, it is his position afterall, not like centre back.

One thing that AW has cleared up according to the club site is that Kolo will not be in midfield cos he ain't got the stamina.

Now I know that the spanish clown will be in goals but seeing as we finished the last few responses talking about preferred selections rather than predicted selections.......... 8)
Would really like to see bedtner and vela get a run out together in a competitive game shortly (twente I suppose) cos they showed the makings of a great partnership in pre season
Eboue in your preferred team. Are you sure!!!

In an ideal world I wouldnt want eboue the midfielder even in the squad but this squad is a million miles away from that scenario. I had hoped that theo would start this season in the same manner that he finished the last one but he aint nowhere near that level. Fulham at the cottage will be a toughie imo and theo aint showed me enough to suggest that he can hack it when the going gets tough. I actually thought about nasri on the right with vela on the left but that would again leave us too lightweight so for that reason I went with eboue - selection by default you could say

Not happy with that centreback pairing, Fulham should be able to exploit Toure's lack of fitness and the inability to deal with high balls. The midfield is...well not interesting or good but be a huge test for Eboue and Denilson (yet I have more faith in them then I do the Toure Gallas partnership), hopefully our attackers and wide players will make up if the central partnerships fail

or Eboue plays like a god. One of the two
