Something has to, or at least should, give sooner or later.
How long more are the fans going to suffer shite like this in silence ? How many more summers are we going to put up with the rape and pillaging of our already tiny squad without the club making fcuk all effort to strengthen it ? How many more transitional seasons should we put up with ?

I for one am well pissed off with the way this club is being run and am on record of saying so many many times. The lack of investment in players, or at least those old enough to drink legally, shows a gross deriliction of duty by those in power. Have to say though that arsene needs his arse kicked badly right now too - how in the name of jesus can he justify bringing in players with major injury history like silvestre and bischoff when he already has rvp, diaby and the world record holder for injuries rosicky already in the smallest squad of any champions league team :?: :?:

Without a shadow of doubt it is time for new investment (whether that be through new owners or not I dont care) so that we are spared from having to fork out good money to watch players who are not good enough to serve the half time tea at our club  If that investment doesnt come soon then all those comments about how much we miss cesc will be moot cos he will have fucked off (who could blame him) and all we'll be left with is the eboue's, denilson's, diaby's and songs of this world - frightening isnt it ?   :worried:

I had to record the game on setanta today and have just finished watching it. By the end I was furious. We looked like a group of individuals that had just met and decided to have a kick about. We were not a team today.
Credit to Fulham, they had a gameplan and it worked a treat. This wasn't our usual problem of opponents packing the midfield and stifling us. This was purely and simply being outplayed by a better team. They were excellent today. They overan us in midfield. Every time any player had the ball two Fulham players were pressing them. I think they had about 18 players out there today.
If any of our resident rose-tinters still believe we are capable of finishing in the top four then they need a reality check. I think AW got one today. His post match interview was almost an admission that we are not good enough.
Fulham had several things today that were seriously lacking in our side:- Desire, Passion, Fight, Passing ability, Communication and teamwork.
Any prem team is capable of playing the way Fulham did today. Lets be honest, they're not the best out there by a long way, but they're good enough to deservedly beat us today. How many managers saw that today and thought "We can do that and beat them too, they obviously are not good enough to play against it". I bet McClaren was watching

Just got back. £48 to watch an Arsenal performance where, according to Wenger, "Fulham wanted it more"

I honestly would rank that amongst our worst league performances under Wenger. No passion. No guts. No determination. No leadership. No cohesion. Just useless

Denilson and Eboue simply lost the midfield battle. Not only that, but I'm hard pressed to think of a crunching tackle made by either of them. They showed little steel, and were totally out fought by Murphy and a very accomplished performance by Bullard. Denilson not only had little appetite to battle, but his passing was atrocious! at least Eboue can point toward a few positve runs forward, but the game simply passed Denilson by.

Then we have Van Persie  now, I think I'm right that he's injury free, isn't he? he played at the Euro's and arrived for pre season injury free. He played during pre-season (albeit woefully) and has started the season in such poor form, it's untrue. He looks lightweight, unfit and he must have left his shooting boots on the plane from Holland, because today, he couldn't hit a donkey's arse with a banjo. He was simply awful, and yet played 90mins..which says a lot about the state of our squad.

I've had time to calm down, and I have to say, Wenger's commetns have angered me all over again. "Fulham wanted it more" - what the hell does that mean? that we didn't fancy it today? we didn't want to battle? Id really like to know, because if we're going to win the league, and if I'm going to spend a crazy amount of money travelling all over England to watch this shower of shite, then I'd really like to know before hand, if they are "up for it", or not.

Lastly, I caught the goal on MOTD. At the time, I wondered how the hell we conceded such a poor goal...well, the answer was Gallas. Our captain.

Awful performance, and I'm fuming about it.

I hate knee jerk reactions, and I'm sure we'll improve, but if we're struggling for motivation on a pleasant afternoon in Fulham, then how are we going to play at Blackburn and Bolton next month? :?

Not impressed one bit

Just got back from London and its time to unleash hell regardless of what anyone else has said. Its probably been repeated multiple times already but if i dont vent im gonna end up going ape shit mental AGAIN. Todays performance was an absolute disgrace of epic proportions. EBOUE has no fucking right to be in our team any longer. A right back converted into a right winger playing in central midfield. He is at best a pathetic clown who should be hung for disgraceful approach and severely handicapped ability on a football field. Denilson: I was impressed when he first started in the Carling cup but clearly this lad wants to emulate how Song played two years ago when we 2-1 at the cottage. What a horrible performance from him. Nice lad or not, young or not he was absolutely fecking toss today which leads me to our glorious manager who i respect but his decisions today were quite frankly laughable. Hey Arsene Dennys playing rubbish shall we bring him off. No lets bring on his obvious replacement Song for Toure instead. Has it not occurred to this stubborn git that we have no holding midfielder and without Fabregas have absolutely no creativity in the midfield. Wallcott seems to have gone to sleep for the Autumn and Nasri looked weak at best. Gallas should not be captain. He is a terrible individual and a pathetic leader of men. He communicates as well with his fellow defenders as Hitler did with certain races. Arsene Wenger you have just over a week to address the situation before things really do hit the fan and hard. Arsenal are being run in an appaulling state atm. How much longer do they expect us to fork out 50-70 a game without producing success. I effectively spent 48 quid to see a pub team take on a mediocre premiership team who never got out of 2nd gear themselves. Credit to Fulham and particularly their Midfield who battled like true warriors but I am disgusted with the attitude of this club, its players and the way they have conducted themselves today in front of 4000 of the finest support they will have all season. Oh and on a final note. Adebayor on 80 grand a week is a fucking embarrassment because he quite frankly could not give a shit about the club or anyone involved judging by todays performance. There was in fighting after the game all over the place and I for one am not surprised. WAKE THE HELL UP ARSENE cause eventually people will start to realise they can see better things elsewhere in london

Evening all, don't really know what to say. Shocking. Thought Eboue was our best player tonight and that says it all for me. Who know....maybe he's about to turn us all? Seriously though, I struggle to remember such an inept performance. At the risk of contradicting myprevious posts, and my hopes for the new season, I struggle to take any hope from such a performance.

That said, if you'll forgive me a moment of 'rose-tintedness', surely that must act as a wake up call...to the players & management alike. It can get little worse than that. I must add though, as frustrating as AW's changes (or lack of) and tactics were tonightm to see talk of wanting him out is very disappointing. I say this having previously, and foolishly, doubted the great man and time soon told the truth. Let's not turn into Newcastle.

I'm god knows how many sheets to the wind and hurting fucking hard cos of the performance as much as the result but I refuse to lose faith. Call me blind but I'm not, maybe just stupid. At worst call it pessimistic optimism - accept we're fucked and it can get no worse.

Sorry but how can you blame Ade?

He had fuck all service and no support

Great performance from the fans today, mainly in the first half.
Still the odd wanker, calling for Wengers head though. Glad one got a rollocking off the bloke behind him.

Today saw the truth and the end to the lies. I cant and wont believe this is Wengers choice without having to cut the wage bill and spend very little on the transfer market.
My anger is directed at Fitzmann, he is the boss the man who should be supporting his manager and all he does is live in tax exile while he makes more profit on Arsenal without spending any or investing anything back or finding other ways of raising cash.
No way has Wenger had money to spend or the team wouldnt be where it is today.
My god Eboue in CM where we used to have Vieira !!!!!
How far have we fallen ?

Welcome to all the new guys tonight.

I am desperately looking for a positive and the only one I can come up with is that this must be a wake up call to the powers that be. We were crap in pre-season, crap last Saturday and diabolical today. Please let that mean that AW and the board spend the next week adding some experience and cojones to the team. :banghead:
