Senderos loaned to AC Milan!!

I think 5 centre halves is more than enough.

You only need three per game, two playing and one on the bench.

I do agree that it seems we have gone from about 4000 full backs to 2 however.

Great news if it is true, i really do not like the bloke at all. Def has not got the quality or calibre to be at the arsenal, it is only a matter of time before he made a massive mistake and cost us bigtime!!

On the flip-side its another OUT and as far as i can see no IN will come to replace yet another body leaving thru the emirates revoling door. The only name being bounded around in the last week or so is gokan inler and i think he is a anchor midfield player not a centre half.

How long will our defensive weakness hinder our free flowing attacking football????????

thats what i mean. cb we seem to have enough. silvestre, song, djourou, toure ,gallas. its obvious we need a CDM And RB. CB seems to be our problem yet we have 5 cb and cant find the right solutioin.

Good luck to the lad.

I think Serie A will suit him more, and he'll probably get more cover from the Milan midfield than he did at Arsenal, where we leave our centre backs far too exposed for comfort.

Prediction: we'll meet Milan in the CL, and Senderos will have Ade in his pocket

Gallas, Toure, Djourou, Silvestre and Song is more than adequate and I am sorry but The Big Cheese done anything but bring quality to the defence.

He was a liability waiting to happen virtually every match!

I agree. We are fine on numbers in defence. We have five centre backs, with two now on loan.

As decent a guy as Senderos was off the pitch, he seemed pressured by Premiership football.

This loan might be a very good thing for him.

He could defend very well, but always seemed to make one high profile mistake per game.

Good luck to him.

For all his high profile mistakes, he has always shown loyalty and dignity and never said a bad word about the club.
