FOR ALL THOSE WHO BOO OR JEER ADEBAYOR

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

There was a thread on this.

Agreed, booing him is pointless. He is playing for us, he knows he pissed off everyone but now we need the greedy bastardhole to score for us. Booing him won't help. Put the team first. Don't sing his song, but don't boo him either I say.

Very true MizzN. I think Adey has been a grade one bounder but whilst he's got the Arsenal shirt on I will not jeer. Same goes for Eboue too !

How was your chocolate cake by the way MizzN ? I hope you haven't eaten all of it
 nah, i only had a bite of it!

Please, let it be...

Ultimately, he is an arrogant bastard that is still relatively unproven over a period of time. In my opinion, his actions shouldn't be ignored, and he deserves abuse for treating the club this way.

I won't continue to jeer through the entire season, as it would be unproductive in the long run. But it was necessary at the Emirates Cup and the game against WBA, and hopefully the point has been made.
Yeah that some of our fans are a bunch of pricks, congrats
Arsenal fans are generally very loyal. If there wasn't a backlash against Adebayor's actions, then it would have set a precedent for other players (and even Ade himself again, next year). If we want to become the 'feeder club' we're touted to be becoming, then sitting back in silence when our top players are dicking us around is one way to achieve it.

Is that because you're being absteemious ? Or was it not quite 'Gordon Ramsey-ish' ?

Feel free to boo Ade. As long as you always boo Henry, Vieira and Campbell whenever you see them. Wish I had kept that gooner article on the hypocrisy of cheering Cesc yet booing Ade two magazines ago but boo Cesc too if you remember that article

In the end, Ade engineered a new contract and now we have someone who could be a real force for us. If we boo him, we are cutting off our gnads to spite our nose as no player is going to be on form if constantly booed

Greedybayor can still go fuck himself as far as I am concerned and I wonder will it take him 20 efforts at doing that before he finally hits the "target" too

He pissed me off over the summer and wouldnt sing his song but any Arsenal fan that boos him is an f**king idiot sorry but if he plays well and scores we stand a good chance of winning. I'll cheer his goals, cheer for the team, knocking his or the other players confidence by booing certainly doesnt help anyone and definately not us fans at all
