FOR ALL THOSE WHO BOO OR JEER ADEBAYOR
[quote="Rob"
Very true MizzN. I think Adey has been a grade one bounder but whilst he's got the Arsenal shirt on I will not jeer. Same goes for Eboue [/quote]
Hang on theres a big difference between booing adebayor and eboue, adebayor has very publically shit all over the club got his pay rise and continues to play like a c**t. Eboue is just useless although I have to say his deployment as a holding mid hasnt been a total disaster so far!

They are completely different situations, but neither Eboue or Ade should be booed while on the pitch in a Charlton - sorry, Arsenal - shirt. People have made their feelings toward Ade clear during the West Brom match...he heard it. He gets it. We move on.DavrosG wrote:Hang on theres a big difference between booing adebayor and eboue, adebayor has very publically shit all over the club got his pay rise and continues to play like a c**t. He had a very clumsy agent who used the threat of leaving to raise his wages.Bring Back Pires wrote:I jeer him because he deserves it. To fuck us around all summer long and then expect everyone to be 'pals' with him is ludicrous. I'm sorry if it hurts his feelings, but he doesn't want to be here, so I don't want him here either.
I do not believe he wanted to leave.
It was disrespectful, and stupid, but not mailicious.
It still all adds upto him being one greedy *word censored* who now expects us all to be full of admiration for himQuartzGooner wrote:He had a very clumsy agent who used the threat of leaving to raise his wages.Bring Back Pires wrote:I jeer him because he deserves it. The difference between Adebayor and Fabregas is the way in which the new contract was conducted. Adebayor went out publicly and stated he should be on the same wages that Henry was on and when he didn't get it he tried to publicly force a move to AC Milan/Barcelona.
Personally I dont think booing is going to achieve anything now, we've let him know how we feel and am sure he's aware of it. His song shouldn't be sung untill he starts banging the goals in and showing his commitment, giving 100 percent. His body language was negative against WBA and Fulham and I think that's why the fans are getting on his back

I have to agree 100% with Bring Back Pires that Adebayor should be left in no doubt at all that we think he is a tosser after how he has treated The Arsenal. There is no way I can cheer the bloke now and no way will I ever sing that bloody stupid song again, in fact that was the best thing about the whole episode, I thought that I would never hear that song again.
For those that want to cheer the goals he scores just remember that every goal scored is NOT for The Arsenal but another bargaining chip for his next outrageous contract demand or move.
Playing for Arsenal is an honour and he has stuck two fingers up at that honour well and truly and insulted us even more by using an excuse that made him think we were all as stupid as most footballers are.
As for getting behind him, bollocks! If my Mrs said to me that she had spent her summer looking for another husband but since no-one would have her she is staying with me would I embrace her or throw her out of the f**king door? I know the answer. Just because we are loyal Arse fans don't mean we should accept the shafting we seem to want to take.

Fair enough, but I disagreeSteve Bould Fan wrote:I have to agree 100% with Bring Back Pires that Adebayor should be left in no doubt at all that we think he is a tosser after how he has treated The Arsenal. The conduct of Ade over the summer was not good, but he's already got the message loud and clear. To carry on jeering him would only be detrimental to Arsenal's chances of success this season, and I presume that none of us want that.
As I said in an earlier post, it comes down to a simple choice...what means more to you - Adebayor or Arsenal?? if it's the latter, then leave your bitterness at the turnstile and while he's wearing an Arsenal shirt, give him your backing - or at the very least, keep quiet.

I think the stevie bould fan put it best and that is my position too - I said all summer that I would never boo/jeer eboue cos he aint good enough but that greedy arrogant judas *word censored* is a totally different story.
I know some of you like g88ner feel that we have made our point now, he knows how we feel and we should leave it at that but can I just point out something - I aint made my feelings clear to him yet but the geordie game is coming fast and then it will be my turn

I told myself that I would neither boo or cheer Ade on Saturday, but I was quite shocked hearing the booing, and did shout his name a few times just to counter out the boos. We all know he's an a**hole for his behaviour this summer, but it's just plain embarrassing hearing away fans booing players in red and white. He was even booed for shooting over the bar?! What does that achieve!?!
Get over yourselves, boo boys.

Get over yourselves, boo boys.
