Early Leavers

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

WHY?!??!?!?!?

There is no acceptable reason.

IT IS EMBARASSING, ESPECIALLY WHEN WE ARE WINNING!!!

The first half performance was much better but, although we scored 3 goals, I felt we dropped off in the 2nd half. Oh, and the opposition really were shite!!

Early leavers from all quadrants, sections and tiers of the ground.

It is their loss.

There was only 45 - 50,000 in there to start with! I know they quote tickets sold but for fecks sake, we have 40,000 season ticket holders, what if only 10,000 turn up? We should say how many are in the stadium.

On one hand I don't understand why you would pay £50 for a seat and then bugger off early but having said that, transport is so crap that if you live any distance away, it can mean getting home well after midnight, not great when you have to be up for work at 5am. BUT.....I don't believe all the early leavers live far away, half of 'em probably live in London!

Totally agree TeeCee!

I live miles out of London and I admit I have in the past left 2 or 3 minutes early after a 7.45 kick off to get the 10.10 train home.

That wasn't an option last night so I stayed until the end.

I can understand people in my position who get home around midnight after a game and then get up at 5 for work going slightly early but surely that does not apply to half the ground?
