The Official Arsenal v Sheffield Utd Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Fucking hell. 6 absolute belters. Velas second, Bendtners first and Wilsheres were all goals that Henry would have been proud of.

Fuck me they were some goals!

Not a bad one amongst them and Vela's second is cheeky as you like!

Who done the backhel for Nic's second?

Just seen that tackle on the Manure player. Fucking disgraceful to be honest.
I've no doubt he'll be crucified for it but in honesty he will deserve it.

Just a shame the press don't crucify English players when they do the same.

I doubt any of these kids will get any closer to the first team or change their status at the club right now despite this performance, it doesn't seem to work like that at The Arsenal, but it will send signals out to the rest of the land what we got coming and it makes Wenger more confidence to playing these kids if we need them during the season.

Just got home from the game. Fucking brilliant. Great goals and some good performances. Vela's 2nd where he brought the ball down the chipped it over the keeper was superb and Bendtners 2nd where Ramsey with his back to goal put him through was good too. Some lovely touches and the boys were trying all the tricks and flicks. Kieran Gibbs had a cracking shot saved by Kenny too. We really could have had a 3 or so more!

Goodnight Fellow Gooners!

What fantastic vision they all seemed to read the game so well. Every one of those guys looks like one to watch for the future.

Agreed DS

They all looked comfortable on the ball and were allowed to express themselves

SSN just said they're showing it again after the break for those that missed it, me included.

Turned on just as they started showing the northern paedos.

It was great how they were all in just the right place at just the right time. Ok so we were only playing sheffield so maybe if we got the ***s we would need to play a stronger squad?
