Definitely a Jam fan too Gus, and I used to have that Tracie song on a cassette tape!

If you like St.Etienne maybe you will like Little Dragon..they are slowly building their rep and gaining a following.

Saw this band quite a few times in London and at the old Kursaal Southend. They were a little bit different at the time and possibly one of the fore runners of punk. Not so much musically but more in their attitude and difference to everything else. RIP Mr Harvey.
one of the my favourite SAHB tracks along with swampsnake and gangbang

Guess you were a sixties skinhead, too, then Reg? :barscarf:

That music certainly took me back to the days when I had loads of hair, but chose to have most of it shaved off!!

Good on yer, son. Really cheered me up, that did. :D
I was only eight in '69 but the music has been with me ever since. My cousins were all about 15 and used to come round my house to play the latest Trojan release. Remember my dad taking me down East Street market to a shop called Jordan's where he bought me a crombie, two tone trousers, orange striped Ben Sherman and ox-blood tassle loafers. I was the best dressed kid in juniors.

here's some more for ya, enjoy. We have our own DJ over The Arsenal and he plays all this for us along with ska, mod, northern soul. He plays for a select appreciative audience, normally on the HR after a game. If you're interested I'll pm when he does the next one. I'm not gonna advertise it.
