Senderos is not shit he is just average. He is one of those players who looks good when they first come into the team but does not develop as he should. Some his performances last year were not good enough and he seems to have lost his pace. Can we afford to wait for him to improve while he continues to make stupid mistake and cost the team vital points. And dont mention Drogba. And does any fan think he is better than Djourou,i dont
Senderos isn't shit and we should never EVER call him shit. When he pulls on the red n white shirt we should all be 100% behind him.
remember his performance against Bayern at highbury a few years back? it was the best defensive display id seen since TA against PSG in 1994. he won headers, strong in the tackle and cleared the ball...and essentially thats what he's paid to do. Gallas is a better 'footballer'..but big phil can head the ball for a kick off which makes him far better in my eyes.
Saying that, when he has the ball at his feet i often worry he's going to do something silly. My solution is Djourou. He's gallas and big phil put together. strong in the air and on the gorund. not afraid to get stuck in. he's def our future.

Big Phil Senderos isn't shit and will become better in time - remember he is only in his early twenties. However, I think Djourou's pace and better distribution gives him a slight advantage right now and I would probably have him as third choice ahead of Phil.
Mind you, because of his ability on the ball, I think Djourou could even become a bono-fide world-class defensive midfielder, and he displayed signs of being so against Portsmouth in the final game of last season.

Having said all that, I think there will be games against the more long-ball oriented sides, where Phil would come into his own and might even be preferred to one of the regulars, because of his good heading ability.
