Na, Seaman against Sheff Utd. The ball had already passed him and he scraped it back off the line in mid air. Best save I've ever seen, including the one by Banks.

it was an amazing save but for me the fact that it was 3-0 at the time and was game over kind of devalues it for me...which it shouldnt!!!

for example if he had made the exact same save on saturday v man u I think there is no doubt it would be remembered forever!!

Yeah, that was sensational, exactly what I thought of when I saw the title of this thread.

slightly off topic. but does anyone remember a tackle that tony adams made against dynamo kiev or someone years ago.

where he slide in and got the ball the stood up still with the ball and passed it.

it never seems to get mentioned but i still remember it so well. i wish i could find a clip on youtube

no doubt it was a great save, but as ambarron said any other game it would have gone down in history.

Remember it well, at the time the press compared it to Bobby Moores tackle on Pele...doesn't really get a mention anymore but that's without a doubt one of the best tackles I've seen.

As for Fabianskis save, I don't think it's quite as good as Seamans save but it was a hell of a save....like someone else said, could you imagine if he'd done it in the closing minutes of injury time against Man Utd on Saturday. He would have been regarded as a hero at Arsenal already.

Best ever save????

Easy... not spending £11m on Rebrov, and watching Sp*rs spend silly money on the useless crunt instead!

We saved £11m and were given yet another reason to laugh at Sp*rs

BEST. SAVE. EVER.

Deffo Seamo; ball came in at point blank range, Seamo had to re-adjust his direction of dive, throw his hand at a ball that had paased him by and propel the ball back out, all in one swift move, in a split second - the fucking strength in that arm was amazing. Best save ever IMHO. 8)

I bet Rebels right arm will be like that when he gets back. After all, he'll have had to have something to fill his time during his exile.
