Official CL draw tomorrow

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Just been having a look at flights and seems an option would be to fly from Stansted to Pescara and get train/bus across. Flights going out Tuesday coming back Thursday only £55 per person with Ryanair. Pescara only about 100 miles away from Rome. Can't find train ticket prices but bet it will be cheaper this way than getting direct flights!

Although Pescara looks nearer, the train journey is shit (4 hours, all mountains) best bet is Naples or Florence. High speed train is 2 hours and much much cheaper than UK.

think im going to be goin its my first abroad away trip.

im a little worried about the roma fans, the ultras in italy are pretty extreeme and the police over are pretty piss poor, underpaid and shit!!

Rome itself should be a bit of fun tho :barscarf:

anyone else think rome fans will be dodgy??

Good point on the train journeys, Naples is miles better, flights the same price but with easyjet and train looks around £40 and take less than 2 hours.

Hmm, calculator time to see if I can afford to go.

He mentioned you can do it the Naples way but he says Pescara is eassier and less crowded whilst being the same distance.

This has probably already been mentioned, but Baptista plays for Roma...

he's just the type of player that will come back to haunt us, and show us exactly why he's called THE BEAST! :?

he was more like a pussycat for us, but he'll probably give our defence a good raping!

Nah, by then Arsene would have bought two experienced, dominating centre halves in the January transfer window, wouldnt he?
