I am exicted at the idea he will set the premiership alight I'm just doubtful. He has scored 66 goals in his 263 games during his 8 year career and thats with his zenit and russia tally added together if the stats I saw where correct.

1 goal in 4 for a winger/number 10 is quiet a good ratio

i agree arshavin is better than we have got but i feel the money would be better spent on some one else

I am not expecting wenger to sign arshavin but tbh it wouldnt surprise me either. I have to say though that I am surprised at the Â£20m figure being quoted on here because I heard it would be nearer the Â£10m mark which would make more sense really cos they couldnt get any takers at Â£20m back in august. Can anybody tell me if he would be eligible for champs lge cos I am too lazy this evening to check whether zenit were in champs lge or uefa cup this season ?

who do we have, cesc aside, that can open up defences at will

for the most part it's sideways, backwards, sidewards, backwards

this boy can run, shoot and see a pass - an intelligent player

first noticed him against Rangers last season and every time i've seen him since he's looked on a differant level to anyone else on the pitch

top drawer imo, would love to see him at The Arsenal

Forget the Â£20m price tag that is the going rate for top class players in this day and age.Look at Modric he cost Â£18m and he wasnt a patch on Ashavin in the Euro"s.

You are not going to get any good players on the cheap.

I agree with augie"s earlier comment about bringing back Vieira on a 1-2 year contract

Anyway, IF we did sign Arshavin, it would be a long term signing so I don't think the fact he's cup tied would bother Wenger too much... and being cup tied would probably knock a few Â£million off his transfer value, too!

I don't know where this Â£20m price tag is coming from.. lets wait and see.

He scored 10 goals last season, think 6 the season before. Thats the point Im making.
