The good news of the season?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Arsène Wenger has hailed Robin van Persie’s continued match fitness as the “good news of the seasonâ€

Copy and paste is fine once the original author is creditted IMO.

As for RVP and "The good news"... it won't last long... he's due an injury ain't he?

Surely we should take fitness for granted - is that not the least we can expect? An athlete at the peak of their fitness staying fit for 40 consecutive weeks during the season?

Shows how bad things have got. I don't remember GG going on about how great it was that Merson had gone a whole season uninjured :(

I can see the press conference now.

WE are delighted with Paul, he has managed a whole season without getting as high as a kite and spending his entire wages in Ladbrokes.

Is it just me or does anyone else expect him to get injured in the first game after the transfer window as closed without us signing anyone ?
