I can't believe in a 30 horse race the favourite has been as short as 7-1.

That is fucking disgraceful value.

Anyone backing each way make sure you get first 5 home. I'm sure Paddy Powers is offering that.

Me? I'm the type of cat who only goes win only, all or nothing.

My money goes on Big Fella Thanks.

Chelsea Harbour deserves to come last. By virtue of having a shite name.

You back 4 horses and, fair enough none of them are amongst the two favourites, but nonetheless you are confident/hopeful but not alone do none of the *word censored* win the bloody race but they get beaten by a 100/1 fcuking outsider :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

My sister in law had 50p e/w on it. By mistake. She wanted the horse above on the ready slip but ticked the wrong box and turned £1 into £62.50. Tax free.

Gambling, it's fucking awsome. I'm tempted to re-open my online Hills account.

Don't do it no 5. Only the bookies win. I'm not saying this as a puritan. I go to Sandown twice a year, 2 of my favourite days of the year, but believe the money I put on a horse is lost, anything after that is a bonus.

The reason I shut my Hills account is because I did one months wages (about £1200 at the time) in 15 minutes one night. But got it back 5 minutes later. When I sobered up the next day, I shut that shit forever. But still, I do like a good bet. These days just cash so I can see what I'm losing. Working at Ladbrokes for 4 years taught me nothing.

I go to Sandown every year for the Eclipse as it usually clashes with my birthday, first weekend in July. But I save up for that so am sure going in if I leave with more than I went in with, I've done well. If I leave with nothing, well, that's what I was aiming for anyway. 8)
