1971- Against a team who wore light blue (Man Citeh, Cov???)
Don't remember the score, just loads of blokes shouting and using words I'd never heard before.
I remember Charlie Georges hair though. I thought he was was the coolest guy I ever saw !!
CHARLIE GEORGE SUPERSTAR
WEARS FRILLY KNICKERS AND A WOMANS BRA
CHARLIE GEORGE SUPERSTAR
WALKS LIKE A WOMAN AND HE WEARS A BRA

My first game: West Brom in 1980, result 2-2. I think it was one of only two times I was in the East Stand (the other being the 2-0 win over Liverpool in 1985, when Niall Quinn scored on his debut). After the West Brom game, I was hooked, and was a North Bank regular until it was torn down for the new stand, and then I became (and still am) a Clock Ender.
Just to make us non-nubies sound even older, I remember the terrace prices in the early 80s being £1.10 for adults and 80p for kids and OAPs. You could get a seat for £3. Bit different now...
Wonder what happened to that guy who used to wonder across the North Bank selling peanuts.

My first game was Arsenal v Sheffield Wednesday in our 1997/1998 double winning season
I was a VIP and it was my first game, i will never forget watching Dennis Bergkamp score up at the clock end, i was sitting in the North Bank with my dad and Arsenal provided a seat either side of us so that i was comftable because i had just come out of hospital.
Bergkamp Scored in the 35th minute.
the team was:
Seaman;
Dixon, Adams, Keown, Winterburn;
Vieira, Hughes, Parlour, Overmars;
Bergkamp, Wreh
the attendance was 38,087
I meet the players and Arsene before the game, i got to sit in the directors chair it was green with a gold cannon on the back.
I also got a tour around Highbury, it was the best day of my life thats why i love Arsenal so much because they cheered me up while i was in hospital and when i came out too.
Arsenal is my life

My first game was at home to Man Citeh at the start of the 94-95 season. I went with my Dad and Grandad, when i was about 4. I don't remember much about the game itself, but I do remember a kid my age kicking my seat, which annoyed me along with the fact that he was wearing the old home shirt and I had the new one on. I was cooler than him. I also remember looking around the natural history museum before the game, and being scared of the dinosaur exhibition.
We were sat in the west upper which was the only time i ever sat on one of the side stands at Highbury.
