Not only did they lose 2-0; Senna went off injured! Think it was his hamstring. Although even if he's played we could have subdued him if we would have played a 4-3-2-1 formation.

p.s. got my ticket for this...block 122 row 2 just above the away fans so should be giving them hell. :barscarf:

Them to score first like Wigan today making it very tense. We pull 2 goals out in the 2nd half. Fabregas to score the winner. 2-1.

Arsenal to make it close

I reckon it'll be only 1-0 to us. We'll get Can't-Score-A-Bloody-Goal Syndrome, because Bendter will be playing.

SSN's said Senna is definately out of Wednesdays game!

Senna,Macherano(who we should of signed) Essien

These are players that should play beside cesc.

Song, Denilson have improved but imagine next season's midfield
all are best players are opa lumpas!

We're short at the back - and poor Kieran Gibbs was a little scary at times yesterday - but with Cesc, Walcott, RVP, Ade and Eduardo all playing then that should be enough firepower to outscore Villareal, with or without Senna!

We're on our way...... :barscarf: !

2-0 or 2-1 to us.but it wont be easy just think back to the first 45 mins in Spain. They can keep the ball as well as us.

Mascherano was never an option for us I don’t think. We were never gonna go near a deal as dodgy as the one that took him & Tevez to West Ham with all the 3rd party ownership. And by the time he was available to be bought outright he was £17/18m - way out of our budget at that time.

Not sure Senna’s the answer for us. He was much more dynamic than I thought he’d be against us but I still think he’s best as a screening DM in a 3-man midfield like he is for Spain, & like Mascherano is for Liverpool whereas we need more of an Essien type. Was gutted when we missed out on him, he’s probably the best box-to-box midfielder in the world in my opinion. :(

As for V’real the defence may well pick itself given the limited options. Up front Wenger’s got the opposite ‘problem’. Wouldn’t be surprised if Eboue got the nod ahead of Walcott if we play 2 up front just to give extra defensive security. Problem is it’s more likely to be on the left where we need that given how raw Gibbs looked yesterday & the lack of pace alongside him (Silvestre) to cover his mistakes. The other option Wenger might go for in that instance would be Diaby or Denilson on the left & push Nasri over on the right. Either way… could be a long night!

Still confident we’ll go through though, even if only just! And if we do I actually want to face the Mancs. It'll be nights like that that'll hopefully create a little bit of history to make the Grove feel more like home! :barscarf:

Rather have Silvestre after what Valencia did to Gibbs(which I knew would happen). Yes Gibbs is good going forward but I dont think we need that, with Nasri, Cesc, Theo, Ade and Van we have enough going forward.

Song at Centre back = not natural cover at CB, plus Denilson providing piss poor muscle in midfield.

Song in midfield, Silvestre at CB. The only way to get the best out of players is to play them in their natural position. If Gibbs is out of his depth, why not play Eboue or Sagna on the left?
