Fantastic idea people!!!

I think we should have a poll in order to decide on the design,

When it comes to the cost an extra incentive could be that everyones who donates a tenner gets their came on the flag.

What do you guys think?

Sounds brilliant glad someone like you is getting behind it Mike as it increases the likelihood of getting the project off the ground, most people have PayPal I think, would it be possible to set up a flag fund?

Members could then contibute as much or as little as they feel comfortable with and you could make a sticky thread with an accumulator type thing on it, and see what total we reach before deciding on the dimensions and overall make-up of the flag or flags???

My asks would also be the VCC motto and the history of our crests as they're fantastic and perfect for illustrating our colourful history for the purposes of a flag!

Landmarks in our history should also be celebrated namely winning the league at WHL, OT and of course Anfield, maybe also reference to our old spiritual home possibly tied in with the year of the Invincibles!

Images of each of the trophies won ie Cup Winners Cup, Fairs Cup, FA Cup, old Div 1 AND Prem trophy to distinguish ourselves from the Mousers and our neighbours from down the road and think what it would be like to able to add the CL trophy to that for next season

Great idea this.

In line with the flag last night instead of National Flags around the thing a pic of all the avatar's from the Online Gooner would be just as good.

Especially the one of Wayno's dog's, if we can get him back of course.

Me and a few others from this forum were going to do this before but we never actually got down to it.
That wallpaper flag is my backround on my phone actually

Maybe If we add a few faces to it like Wenger, Henry, Bergkamp, Wright, Adams, Brady etc around the flag. I would chip in and I know others who would.

I'd like to see a simple flag with the crest and the MAJOR trophies we;'ve won around the perimeter... i.e. FA Cups. League trophies, Fairs Cup & CW Cup.

Like the large Liverpool one.....

So, something like this.... (forgive my "Paint" job!

) - the white blobs would be the trophies, obviously

Actually, the white backgound might be better (less Man Utd-esque) with black trophies around the border.

Yes a simple flag can be just as effective and maybe we could get enough together for two flags, I'm not sure about every single trophy we've ever won like 10 FA Cups 12 Titles etc.as it might look a bit fussy and it will need constantly updated............ hopefully

What on the back or somethin? why do ya feel the need? would seein the flag on the telly not be enough? and anyway surely half of the money would be taken up by havin a seamstress puttin the names on???
