bit of pushing and shoving with ob outside silverspoon. Lad next to me was pushed in the back by wpc. He wasn't doing anything wrong. someone made a comment, not him, about G20, and she grabbed the lad and tried to arrest him, accusing him of being drunk. Her actions wound the crowd up even more so her superior officer told her to let the lad go.

HIS FRIENDS WERE TO BE HONEST A POSH/MIDDLECLASS GROUP, WHO PANICED AT WHAT THEY SAW,
THEY SAID TO A POLICEMAN (SOMETHING ALONG THE LINES OF):
"OUR MATES PASSING OUT CAN YOU LET US THROUGH THE BARRIER"
HIS REPLY:
"I KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH HIM I CANT LET HIM THROUGH BECAUSE THERE IS PEOPLE LEANING ON THE BARRIER"
FIRST OFF THIS WAS BOLLOCKS IT WAS A SMALL SECTION OF THE BARRIER, AND NO ONE WAS LEANING ON IT SO THEY COULD HAVE LET THEM THROUGH.
SECOND "I KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH HIM!"
THIS *word censored* COPPER HAS NO IDEA WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THIS GUY.
HE PRESUMED THAT THIS GUY WAS PISSED OR DRUGGED UP AND BASICALLY SAID FUCK OFF WITHOUT HAVING TO.
TO BE HONEST MY FIRST INSTINCTS AND MANY AROUND ME WERE THE SAME AND I ASKED HIS MATES WHAT HE TAKEN AND WAS TOLD BY 5 SOBER YOUNG STUDENT TYPES THEY HADNT BEEN DRINKING OR DOING DRUGS. IT WAS CLEAR THE GUY WERNT PISSED AND DRUGGED UP AFTER ABOUT 3MINS....BY WHICH POINT THE COPPER MADE NO ATTEMPT TO HELP....AND HE STILL COULDNT HOLD HIS OWN WEIGHT.
IT WANT TILL PEOPLE AROUNG STARTED GETTING CONCERNED THAT THEY LET HIM THROUGH THE BARRIER, AND STILL NO AMBULENCE OR PARAMEDIC IN SITE , THE COPPER DIDNT EVEN YOUR HIS RADIO TO GET HELP.
THIS COPPER WAS SO AGGRESSIVE AND ACTED LIKE SOMEONE WAS HAVING A GO AT HIM FOR ASKING FOR HELP
It could have been bad, on the way back to the station I did see one young Gooner wallop a Chelsea fan minding his own business but everyone was allowed to pretty much walk side by side right up to the station.
One day it will kick off and the police will be powerless to get through the sea of people trying to get to the station.

Lots of people with the 'I saw.....' did no-one do anything when they 'saw' these things going on. If you see a 60 year old/a bird/youngsters being pushed about get off the bus/out the car/stop walking and help out.

Agreed. I've never stood by and watched - and I've gotten in a few sticky situations because of it too. Especially in fucking Dublin. But I couldn't just stand and watch some cowardly crunt hit a woman, or kids or an old guy. The vast majority of geebags that attack women and old guys are cowards and will bottle it if challenged.
Still, I suppose there is always the one crunt that carries a knife to worry about, huh?
