have to say Arverage Al was top draw today, as well as showing the rest of the prem how to play like a man, got kicked studs up in the neck and got straight up, i was saying he is in the form of his life before in a thread titled "what a player AA is" and someone on here who talks in the 3rd person replied "nah hes crap"!

i thought gibbs was very good, but every time man u got the ball down his flank he had make sure he went back inside almost touch tight with sylvestre. because when he left space between himself and the ex man u player vs liverpool they broke through there and raped the space, i dont know if wenger told him to do that, or he made that call himself but it was a good call.

going forward we had nothing, because we played one up front, and he walked around midfield like he was playing the number 10 role, and laughed when the ball bounced off him - possibly the worst performance i have seen from a CF even bar.tender looked better than him when he came on.

:banghead:

the fact we are still in this tie is a big positive, we can't play any worse in the 2nd leg, i hope.

Yep, another thread too far.

Can people stop jumping in after one good-ish game with wild suggestions?

Gibbs is never going to get the starting slot just yet. Even Gael had to wait what 3/4 years to make it his own. And mobile boy 2 odd years himself.

Potentially the boy is doing well, but it's really gonna be game to game and blood him in.

Huge potential though. 8)

He was one of our best players tonight. :barscarf:

I agree...

But , didnt we get to the final in 06 missing our first place LB?

The omen is there......its all we have isnt it? :barscarf:

Gibbs did well against the diving ladyboy. He is improving in every game. Would like to see him play left mid with Clichy behind him in LB. He (with Aluminium) was our MOTM last night. 8)

Gibbs did very well, it was a big occasion against the best player in the World, he did not look out of place and was good.

If Clichy was to go I don't think anyone would be panicking, that's how highly I rate him.
