Why are we so keen to 'Scapegoat' each other ?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Did you see the game against Liverpool when they lost 4-1? When Liverpool scored the 4th it was emptier than the Grove on Tuesday

Exactly and they were still clear at the top of the fucking league. Our support is shit carries about as much truth as "Newcastle having the best support in the league" - like when they had 12,000 for an FA Cup game against Bournemouth

Quite right.
I think our away fans do a brilliant job and are up there with the best.

Its the home support that let us down. It's no different to that of Highbury but on a much bigger scale now.
Problems made slightly worse by inter-mixing different types of fans from Highbury together.

Too many people want to play 'my dicks bigger than your dick' when it comes to supporting the club.

I really can't be arsed about it any more. If people want to leave early - let 'em go. If you want to stay to the end - then stay.

If anyone thinks them going to one game a season and staying to the end makes them a better supporter than me, (when I pay for my football in June) fuck 'em.

I've taken a look on various forums and the *word censored* moaning loudest about people leaving early were sitting at home typing posts whilst the fucking game was on. *word censored*. Even if you didn't have a ticket you should've been on the manor watching in the pubs.

I can't be arsed to listen to excuses about why you (that's a general not a personal) can't get a ticket. Where there's a will etc. I know lads that gave up their ST 'cos they didn't have the money up front, they still go, they put themselves about and get tickets.

I FUCKING LOVE THE ARSENAL, BUT I'M STARTING TO HATE SOME OF THEIR FANS

I know people who have given them up too - but I agree, if you want them bad enough you can generally find a way.

Some people can't afford to go to games. It doesn't mean they can't be embarassed by our support on Tuesday night.

Chelsea rarely sell out their ground so wouldn't have even been there to leave early, for fucks sake they didn't even sell out their away leg against Barca so that makes your statement bollocks

The 'proper' fans who stayed until the bitter end waving their flags, smiling with their 'whoo-hoo look at me i'm on tv' expressions as the camera panned on them and taking pictures on their phones, they're the hardcore?

Ground was littered with em when the final whistle went.

Give me a heart-broken, angry, dismayed gooner already on the tube home anyday of the week.

That's bollocks.

The "proper" fans who stay till the end (at least the vast majority) want to applaud the team off, and to show support.

And if you seem to think those of us who DID stay till the end weren't heart-broken, angry and dismayed, then you need a serious reality check.

Earlier in the season many fans booed Eboue, Wenger said that it made the player stronger and we did see him score a few in the months that followed. On this occasion, the fans voted with their feet, lets hope it has a similar positive effect.

I was one of the 30'000 or so that fucked off at half time, It is only the second time I have ever done so but feel no shame. I will support Arsenal regardless of how good they are, provided they give it their all and try their hardest to compete, unfortunately that didn't happen on Tuesday night.
