Players I'd hate to loose
3 DF Bacary Sagna: Consistent, rock solid, constructive going forward.

4 MF Cesc Fàbregas: Potentially world class

5 DF Kolo Touré: Questions marks over this seasons, but on his day a top quality defender with pace.

11 FW Robin van Persie: Still not a frequent enough scorer for me, but a class act capable of scoring against top class opposition.

22 DF Gaël Clichy: Like Sagna generally a consistent and stabilising presence at the back.

23 MF Andrei Arshavin: The light at the end of the tunnel for many fans.

9 FW Eduardo: Just about makes it as one to keep, but through no fault of his own, could be a big player for us next season judging from what we've seen of him when fit.


Players who I could bare to part with
1 GK Manuel Almunia: A good, sometimes very good but not great keeper. A vital position that could be improved on.

2 MF Abou Diaby: Looks limited most of the time, versatile so maybe useful as a squad player but unlikely to ever be a prominent member of a championship winning team.

7 MF Tomáš Rosický: Tempted to say sell him for whatever we can get, too few goals, too few games and likely to remain so. The squad is full of similarly players.

8 MF Samir Nasri: A disappointment, not enough goals, not enough assists, seldom gets behind the enemy's defenses (mind you he's not alone in being guilty of that). One to be rotated in and out of the first team in my book.

10 DF William Gallas: Mean, Moody rarely magnificent, having lost the armband I feel he's been on the slippery slope out of the club for a long time now. Good player, but flawed, and doesn't seem to form an effective partnership with any other centre half in the squad.

12 FW Carlos Vela: Looked like Edaurdo Mark II last pre-season, didn't get many games though, play him or sell him Arsene, it's not like our from line is banging them in. If you flogged all our mediocre strikers you could buy David Villa.

14 FW Theo Walcott: Justifies the hype about once in every dozen games, always anonymous in the big games against ManUre and Chel$ki. Will it ever happen for him? and can we afford to wait to find out, would much prefer an empty bank account and Franc Ribery than another year of watch Theo run hot and cold.

40 DF Kieran Gibbs: Has done very well, apart from the odd apocalyptic error, but still with left backs in abundance at the club he could be moved on.

16 MF Aaron Ramsey: Has not done enough to be let go yet, one for the future perhaps.

19 MF Jack Wilshere: Likewise, wouldn't write him off with so few appearances.

25 FW Emmanuel Adebayor: Controversial, but unless we get another ludicrous offer this summer I'd keep him, more on last seasons form thank this ones. Simply a better player than bendtner, so if one has to go it's Nicklas.

15 MF Denílson: Lots of first team experience, we could get a few quid for him and replace him with a better player.

17 DF Alexandre Song: He may play 3 positions, but not terribly well. Flog him and put the money in the "Arsenal Defence Fund"

18 DF Mikaël Silvestre: No more than a stop gap, has done ok given his ability and age but never gonna be part of a championship winning defense.

20 DF Johan Djourou: Good but not world class, another to be cashed in on.

21 GK Łukasz Fabiański: Should have got Given.

26 FW Nicklas Bendtner: Coin toss between him and Ade, but lets face it it's him, I see a Hartson like career on the road for Nicklas

27 DF Emmanuel Eboué: Flog him before you flog him, a cheat, an embarrassment to the jersey, a god bothering rat bag, gotta get rid.

28 MF Amaury Bischoff:Flog.

Must Buy:

Marcos Senna : Experienced international, the perfect solution to our holding midfield problems.

Brede Hangeland: Obvious one this, sell Senderos, Djourou, Sylvestre and buy this fella with loads to spare.

David Villa: Bit optimistic but come on lets splash the cash, it will be worth it in the long run.

Carlos Tevez: Why not? united don't want him, loan deal for a few million for one of the best players in the premiership this last few seasons?

Gareth Barry: Overpriced at 16 Million, but if you could get him for 10 he solves a lot of problems. Offering quality cover across the defence and midfield with an eye for goal and decent set piece delivery could be a big asset to the squad. Could get him for a knock down price if we went the player exchange route. Alternatively Joleon Lescott might be tempted from the bright lights of merseyside to offer defensive cover if Barry could be shifted from Villa.

I meant waste of space whilst never playing. I like ramsey, but i think hes probably just another little fairy-footballer: small, injury-prone and getting pushed off the ball. The team is full of them.
