I don't think it's that the Bradford City anniversary didn't get the publicity it deserved, it's simply that Hillsborough will continue to be high profile because the media loves Liverpool and scousers are always on an emotional trip whatever they do. There have been plenty of other disasters which seem to get overlooked now (Ibrox, Herald of Free Enterprise, Kings X etc etc). 5 live broadcast the memorial service live from Anfield.
Men women and children perished in the Bethnal Green underground disaster during WW2 - the greatest single loss of civilian life in Britain - yet survivors still haven't got enough money to get a proper memorial put up.
The media in this country have a lot to answer for.
