totally agree, seems 2 me that the carling cup games hav the best atmosphere as there are more red members getting tickets and are happier 2 be thereRilo II wrote:Again, I must ask whats wrong with people going to their first game?
And fuck me, all people want on here is more people singing and new songs. Now anyone who dares to try a new song is getting moaned at.

I think people forget how fucking lucky they are sometimes to
A) Be able to afford to go
B) Have the oppurtunity to hold a season ticket
C) Pick and choose when they go or not
D) Have the chance regularily to enjoy singing and shouting watching their heroes
To accuse the first timers and oppurtunists of negating the atmosphere is rubbish as the adrenalin and excitement is twice that of people who sit there the same as if they were watching Eastendsers!

i was one of the late ones and nope not a newbie to the stadium but the tube was absolutely shited up the train was stuck in the tunnel for 15mins or so and all the gooners with me looked in agony. so i dont think its fair to label late comers as less passionate if anything being determined to turn up, no matter how poor ken livingstones transport is should be appreciated. On those who left early and missed denilsons goal it was mostly season ticket holders who knew how bad the queues for the trains are, the newbies stayed gazing at the stadium long after regulars had gone.TheOne2Smooth wrote:I dont believe it that you think I'm a moaner. come on 20 minutes into the game thats a piss take and it wasnt 1 or 2 it was hundreds of them
and to top it all they all wanted to go home 5 minutes before the end GRRRRRRR in a way I'm glad they went they missed Denilsons wonder goal

Were you not excited on your first trip to see arsenal? I was. I go to pretty much every home game each season and a fair few away games and I still get excitied about it. So why is it a problem people go and enjoy themselves, and take a few pics to remember the day by? If I could go back to my first ever game I would take loads. I have vague memories of the match but photos would be awsome.
You shouldn't be so stuck up mate, let the people enjoy themselves.
