I agree with you 100% mate.tenementfunster5 wrote:1 for 1 wouldn't work for me. we need TH to see out his career at The Arsenal for what he does both on and off the field. Theo will be the new Henry in a few years time and could well be the next Greatest goalscorer so if we are to get Eto'o then we must buy him outright.
Why exchange Henry for Eto'o when we could get them playing together? Just imagine them two together, we'd have the best strike force in the world! Eto'o is world class and I reckon he would rather join us than chelsea. Henry doesn't want to go, and rightly so because he deserves to be here till the end just like Bergkamp.
It sickens me to see everyone writing off Thierry like this! I mean i knew football fans were fickle but this is ridiculous! He has come back from injury and serious fatigue and scored something like 5 in 8!!! Of course his heart is in it, he could have gone for 50 mill last season and been the most expensive player in the world, got paid a hell of a lot more and played at barcelona with eto and ronaldinho and deco knowing that if a world class player came up for sale they could actually buy them! but no he stuck with arsenal, a team in transition consisting mostly of kids, building for a very bright future which a his age he will play a minor part in! come 2-3 years this team will be fantastic but henry will just be passing his peak then but he is still here bringing them through!
For all of you who were at the last game at highbury and stayed behind for an hour singing Thierry Henry 4 more years from the North bank you must feel as sick as i do to see these people jump on his back so quickly! There is no doubt about his committment its his body that can't keep up at the minute and if you all carry on like this it will be he bloody confidence too! a team with as much flair and youth as ours is based on confidence! as soon as we lose it the team falls apart, look at theo up until the carling cup, no confidence and he was a waste of space, now he's got it back watch him fly!
The message is leave Henry alone! he has been a servant and a saviour to this club and he will continue to be! he scored 5 in 6 games and now hasn't scored for 2 or 3 and you are doubting him!!!! get a bloody grip and jump of the friggin band wagon and think for yourselves!!
p.s. buy eto and sell lupoli and alliadiere and dont buy the beast imho

TH is the greatest and will go down in footballing history not just Arsenal's. His form has dipped this season but he has never been one to play with a cheeky grin on his face like Ronaldinho. We have always said that he is 'moody' but he strives for perfection and expects it if he or anyone else falls below that then his head looks to go down. He still tries as hard as when it is going good and he will give his all for the cause, remember the champions league final he ran his socks off. Get off his back he is crucial for the future of this club and it's young stars.
Stick with him he'll come good again and when we get RVP back then we will have the most devestating strike force.

I don't think there is any basis to the story whatsoever apatr from the fact that
1) Eto has publically spoken of his like for Arsene Wenger
2) He is clearly not happy at Barcelona as shown by refusing to come on as a sub
That's all it takes for the tabloids to say he is on his way to the Grove. Don't get me wrong i'll be delighted if he does but if he is going to cost us £20mill i'd rather see the money spent on a Defender
