Theo is not a happy camper.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He's pissed off at Psycho for dropping him. I wonder who would win that fight? :D

He looked lost when he came on as sub against the Germans the other day... and he was playing down the centre where most would prefer him to start playing.. Hmmm.... :?

I am not sure we should read too much into the judgements of a Blackburn Reserves right back!

Leftback though I think he will start on leftwing since Sweden's first choice is suspended. I wouldn't read much into it in terms of respect, just some mind games but Walcott has had a poor tournament so far. The Swedish fullbacks love to attack so Walcott's pace would be useful for the counter attack but up to Pearce, he has four good wingers to choose from

Lethal, he is 20, playing against guys two or three years older. He was eligible for the last U19 tournament, he has a lot of time to improve.

I always feel that players that come out with statements like that are setting themselves up for a fall.

Theo is not rubbish.

He's a young lad who is developing in much the same way as Bendtner, Song and Denilson; they're capable of good performances, and utter muck.

A few months back, Wenger (talking about Bendtner) said that a player who misses chances at 20, will score those same chances at 22... and I think that's a point we shouldn't forget... that these lads are still developing and they will improve over the coming seasons.

Not all young players develop as quickly as Cesc, Pato, Messi and Rooney. Most take time, and Theo is in the latter category with most young players.

Theo offers Arsenal variation, and I genuinely believe our squad is better with him than without.

Reckon your spot on there mate, I would extend that by saying Pennant is a better player, at least he gets his head up to cross a ball.
I don't thinm he will ever cut it as a top player.

Radford says on yet another theo theo debate. whislst it maybe tru that the lad is "developing" he has not made any real significant strides in becoming a better player.

he has the touch of the 4th plinth in traflargar sq, has no ball retention skills, no trick, no real ability to go pass a player, cannot cross, head or deliver a decent pass.

people keep saying play him down the middle but why? he won't be able to hold the ball up and bring people into play all we can hope for is that he will run on to through balls. he was subbed at half time because he was crap. he was dropped because he was crap.

his asset is his speed against a tired defense as has been proved with his only memorable outings being away to the mickeys twice with runs in the final part of the game and again forthe u21's in the final third of a game.

he is living as far as england is concerned on the back of a well taken hat-rick in the full team but has constantly failed to deliver before or since.

theo may well be developing but the Arsenal first team is not the place in which that should be taking place.

are we a better team without him .......YES.

are we a better squad without him possibly not as an impact player he would have a limited role.

has he been worth the money ........ FUCK NO

has the hype match the end product......NO

if he was not english would we still have the constant argument.....NO

Radford also cannot believe we gave him a pay rise. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

i agree about the squad being better with him in it,i remember several times in the 07/08 season him coming on to win a game for us (bolton 2-0,sunderland 3-2)

but i still dont believe he will ever be good enough to start for the arsenal,he's said before he never played football until he was 12...well you can see that when you watch him play ! he doesnt seem to be a natural player.
