How to cook humble pie (2/10)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

LIKE THE AUTHOR, I AM MORE THAN WILLING TO HAVE A LARGE SLICE OF THAT PIE. BUT AT THE MOMENT - SWEET AND DELICIOUS AS IT MAY SMELL - IT HAS ONLY BEEN COOKING FOR A FEW MINUTES!

LET'S NOT BE TOO GREEDY BY TRYING TO TAKE A BITE OUT OF IT NOW, AND JUST WAIT AND SEE WHAT IT TASTES LIKE AT THE END OF IT'S RECOMMENDED BAKING TIME.  WE ALL KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN TO PIES DURING THE BAKING PROCESS!!

HAVE TO ADMIT THOUGH, IT'S CERTAINLY LOOKING AND SMELLING GOOD AT THIS POINT IN TIME. 8)

Our resident fan of Hleb is right, things could still go very wrong for us. Humble pie should only be brought up in May if we won something big
