Did the ankle in...

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Turns out I pulled the ligament away from the bone and a few "fragments" of bone went with it.

NO FOOTBALL FOR 2 MONTHS MINIMUM!!! :( :banghead:

And I've the joys of physio/torture to look forward to...

Although the Zydol is helping... :whee: :ihh:

Is it still hurting? Is it really, really sore?

If you put weight on it do you get a sharp shooting pain up your leg?

Make my weekend and answer yes to all the above!

I ruptured my ankle ligaments a few years ago playing football had my leg in plaster for 4 weeks and didnt play again for 6 months or so. My ankle is still slightly out of shape compared to my good one.

Hope you have done it that bad mate and you'll be back playing soon

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on your typing there Flash!!

Doc said if it settles back in naturally and the bone fragments re-attach I should be kicking a ball in about a month and a half to two months. If not then it's surgery... :(
