Not Guilty

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

its fucking wrong!!!
Exactly. How can he be innocent when his other mates all pleaded guilty. Ridiculous. The victim in this case should get this escalated to a crown court in London.

Take solace in the thought that, even as we speak, his bird is having one slung up her by a bugle dealer!

Judge Henry Globe told him: "The verdict is a credible verdict on the full facts of this case, and you walk away from this court with your reputation intact.

"You did not start the violence, it was started by the violent elbowing of Marcus McGee in the face by one of your friends John Doran," he added.
So as long as your mate throws the first punch, you can absolutely twat someone & get off with it. What a crock of shit.

I believe there was a local milkman on the jury and he was told that if he didn't vote in favour of Saint Stevie, the whole of victim land would boycott his milk along with his Sun newspapers, (he also does a paper round on the sly the day he claims benefits illegally).

Unbelievable!! If you watch the CCTV footage, his mates nails him with an elbow then Gerard nails him with about 4 cheap shots while he's still dazed from the first blow!! How he got off is beyond me, complete farce :banghead:

Of course the golden boy of English football could never do anything wrong, to send him to jail would be unthinkable  However it would have been a different story had it been a nasty foreigner from Arsenal...

The fact of the matter is he's clearly laid into a guy with a nasty series of uppercuts & escaped without any kind of punishment :x Disgraceful.

Can you imagine the outcry from victim-land if he had been found guilty and sent down for it??? Concerts, t-shirts, marches the lot

I think one of the most sickening things about the whole case was the character witnesses for Gerrard..the club chaplain turns up at the hearing to tell everyone what a nice chap Gerrard is after watching him laying in to some guy mob handed on CCTV.... hypocrisy if i ever saw it, half expected him to testify that the victim was a c*nt.

Disgraceful. The lot of you. Questioning not only Stevie G's innocence but his word too!! You should all be ashamed of yourselves. You tell me where it says in the law statutes that it is wrong for an Engerland footballer to get mobbed up and just start punching the head off someone.

I just pray to the holy Virgin Mary that Stevie didn't hurt his hand when he punched that bloke. Poor Stevie G. Legend. Hero. God.

:whee:

Seriously though - how the fuck can that judge keep a straight face. "Yes Mr Gerard I see on the video that you are repeatedly punching the victim for no reason but that is not proof that you punched him. Not guilty."
