Song for the lads to walk out to?
How about ''The Boys Are Back In Town'' by Thin Lizzy. This has got far more attitude and bottle than that cheesy Elvis crap

oooh I can't tell you how disappointed I am to hear that!Firstly, I'm not your mate
wow, are we worthy of such geniusSecondly, my football knowledge is obviously quite in depth, hence the Busby Babe fact.
You mention in your original post about how a club song should have some relevance to the Club, and you cite YNWA being recorded by a Scouse group as a reason. How do you explain Delilah being adopted by Stoke City?
who on earth hears Delilah and immediately thinks 'that's the Stoke song'? Maybe that's a little in-thing between themselves, but the rest of the world is largely oblivious to it.
YNWA would be almost universally recognised in England as the Liverpool anthem, as with I'm forever blowing bubbles and WHUFC.
That's whats so embarrassing about this anthem, you could see Sunderland fans joining in thinking it was just the PA playing an Elvis song. And it's not even an in-thing with us, none of us what this anthem.
