Why does Almunia seem to thinks he is Arsenal's Spokesperson

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

yes he is.
touré is worse than vidic and gallas maybe a little worse than ferdinand, but i would not swap almunia for the 100-year-old van der sar

Have you forgotten Almunia"s understudy is Flapianski.Out of the other "top 4 teams" we have the worst pairs of keepers

almunia compared to van der sar is funny enough, but then gloating about our other goalkeepers !

fabianski cost us the FA CUP semi final and vito mannone has looked poor in the games he has played for us

van der sar is my grandpa, foster is a bad joke and kuzczak wouldn't play for my amateur team here in brazil...

yes, we are better than manure when it comes to goalkeepers. almunia is very good imo and i like szczesny.

Almunia is not very good, he is average. Very good goalkeepers can win you games. Almunia isnt that standard.

I would.
Almunia is absolute mediocrity and van der Sar even at his age the better keeper imo.
But as a matter of fact I worry more about the defense in front of him :? :(

For one the guy is spanish, even if he got his passport i doubt cappello would pick him, there would be uproar.

I would have green and kirkland infront of almunia. Almunia has proved nothing. I can remember almunia having one great game for us, away to united in CL and we lost.

Can you remember a game that almunia won us?
