We played very well, and I refuse to be overly critical of the team sheet, as we were missing Cesc, Nasri, Rosicky and Walcott.
I was
delighted with the peformance. We looked comfortable, strong, solid, and dangerous.
Ok, the Almunia and Diaby show cost us the points, but these things happen. I saw enough today to feel positive about the future, so although I'm gutted and very frustrated, I'm not going to let the inevitable negativity on this forum that comes from every bad result get to me.
The team works very hard, and I find that much easier to get behind and support than the wishy washy crap from last season.
This team is clearly giving 100% and looks focused and driven, and that's all I ask. It's been a hugely positive start to the season, and 1 unlucky defeat doesn't change that for me... ManUre lost to burnley, and Liverpool lost to Villa... these things happen. Onwards to Citeh....
