Rooney did dive (got pics)
i think everybody should e-mail uefa, they simply cannot ignore this just 3 days after the eduardo dive, like somebody has already said in here the only difference between this and the eddy dive is boruc pulled out of the challenge, there is no way you can look at them pictures and the video and say rooney hadnt decided to go down early to gain a penalty. in whagt is argubaly the biggest premiership game of the season things like this should not be allowed to happen.
i was at old trafford in one of the home stands and putting up with those manc c**ts for 90 mins was possibly the worst thing i have ever had to do, i cheered when rvp 'equalised' but i think they thought i was cheering at the offside flag

What's the difference between Eboue's dive and Rooney's dive then?SCREAM AIM FIRE wrote:he was on his way down but he had every right to be (we all know we'd be claiming a pen...see wednesday for details)
i've tried my hardest to say it was a dive just to soften the defeat a bit but it wasnt,
almunia had no right being there and gifted UTD the win on a nice big silver platter (thats including the ball he should of punched away from diaby)
all that hard work wasted by a clumsy, lazy and over-rated goal keeper...theres a reason he's never been capped.
can't blame diaby, maybe should have done better but look who was waiting for it if he didn't intervene
also well done eboue, reverted back to his embarassing diving self.
and LOL @ wenger
I don't blame Eboue's dive today as I understand his frustration today...However having said that, if he keeps on diving easily like before, I will not even want to keep him as Sagna's sub

contact.
Don't matter that he was already on his way down, if a goal keeper spreads himself like that the forward is going to go to ground everyone knows that, boric moved out of the way and was very unlucky, no pen almunia waited until the pen was given to pull his arms in catching rooney in one way or another hence the penalty, theres the difference
eboue was about a yard away from anyone (as he always is when he dives)
no diving is justified.
Exactly! A dive is a dive. I accept Eboue's dive today because we were not fairly treated. The ManU players fell, then they got a free kick. So he dove when we were down by 1 goal. I excuse him once due to his hardship in the last couple of months for the team. Actually it's his first time this season, so if he stops diving, keep him as Sagna's sub. Sagna can't play every single game for us for the whole season.SCREAM AIM FIRE wrote:wlchuccc wrote:What's the difference between Eboue's dive and Rooney's dive then?SCREAM AIM FIRE wrote:he was on his way down but he had every right to be (we all know we'd be claiming a pen...see wednesday for details)

Almunia gave him the penalty by sticking his arms out, if the Celtic keeper had done that Eddie wouldn't have the shit he has now and if Almunia hadn't put his arms out then Rooney would be getting the shit.
Sometimes, even when it's a team you hate, you have to be big enough to say that was a right decision and that was a penalty because of Almunia.

This to me is a bigger talking point which has been buried because we scored soon after. Fletcher went in TWO FOOTED, got nowhere near the ball as he mowed down Arshavin (yes look again Andy Gay you dumb fuck) and Dean the *word censored* didn't even flinch.
That needs to be brought back into the spotlight as it was a disgraceful decision.
I hate that every pundit and commentator think that just because the tackler touches the ball before the man it's a fdoul, in the laws it says nothing of the sort!! If you giove the opponent no way to avoid being taken out, it is a FOUL, no matter how much of the ball you get!
Bullshit call for our "penalty". Haven't seen the Rooney one enough times to comment.

Of course the *word censored* dived! he dived back in 2005. The point is that the brainless Almunia gave him the chance to because he wanted something to do in the game
There will be no enquiry or witch hunt despite the fact that the same Rooney took a wild kick out at Diaby a few minutes earlier and arguably should have been sent off 'violent conduct' - whats the difference between slapping someone and taking a wild kick out at them? MOTD pointedly 'managed' to edit that out and 'surprisingly' Lineker and co didn't have a word to say about it.
The truth is that the FA/media have had a hard on for us ever since AW arrived and what we've managed to win/achieve since, has been despite their best efforts.
