Maybe it has exposed Sky quite a bit, but at elast they've reported on the story on their website (and quite a good report too).

Only the Express, Star and Sun have totally ignored it.

I think bbc come out quite badly in some ways, as although they've covered it well on the radio, no mention on their regular websites at all. All on radio 1 sites on on Five live.

i do believe that if we are going to complain about fans calling our manager a paedophile, we should stop singing that harry redknapp's mother is a w***e! i believe that is just as sickening as the wenger chant and also 'arry was a gooner growing up anyway

Cause of the week

Arsenal supporters were right to turn their cannons on Play.com and Amazon for stocking a compilation of football chants which included the vile "Sit down you paedophile", as directed at ArsÃ¨ne Wenger. This repulsive dirge, which has now been withdrawn by both firms, would be bad enough if it only subjected the Arsenal manager to intolerable abuse. Its other iniquity is to trivialise sexual crimes against children by presenting them as a source of mirth.

At many grounds you wouldn't hold a candle for self-policing, because offensive chanting is endemic. But this week's campaign against laissez-faire retailers was a small start.

Both are harsh but I just can't see how saying someone's mum's a bit 'easy' is as bad accusing them of abusing children?

For those of you following this story I think pressure needs to be maintained. Amazon has taken it down but only from their UK site. The fact that's its still available on their main site is appalling. This being an MP3 download, its easy to access. Don't even have to pay for shipping. I can just use my same Amazon account to access all international sites.

The media seems to think this story is done just b/c Amazon has taken it down from their UK site. I think they need to be told that Amazon has done the bare minimum to comply. I would also suggest that everyone copy their email complaints and send them along to Amazon's main office.

I'm not trying to be controversial here, but I'd hope that this whole thing will also lead to people standing up against anti-Semite chants at the Emirates. Obviously they are not widespread, but you still hear them and it would be nice if something would be done against that too.
