Frustrating as it is, the only thing we can do is choose to go and support the team or stay at home and sulk.
Most of us will always support the team(good riddance when we lose the glory hunters and corporate tossers) but we can't paper over cracks, an 8 game unbeaten run will tell us we are good against mid table teams and top 6 pretenders but this team will not compete at the top of the tree, I will take the positive from that when AW,the board and some of our fans admit it.
On our day we are the best team in the league. Everyday and every season Manure Chelski and even the scousers are better.

Why, because we don't have a squad with enough depth or backbone to cope when we get injuries. That's not negativity, it's reality.

Redlady, you are from exactly the same mould as me! I don't come on here to slag the team off. They can only do their best. I come on here to question Wenger's decision making in the transfer market. Why can't he see it? Until more people question why he sold 2 players, bought 1 and didn't strengthen from last season when we were bottom of the top 4 we will just continue to chug along winning the odd game 5-1 before coming to a grinding halt either against the top sides or away at Stoke. It is just baffling.
It's no good saying we'll beat Wigan and things will look better. Why will they? We do not have enough genuine quality and until we do it'll just be the odd cup here and there if we're lucky.
I don't get it. I just don't get it.

I am staying positive, positive that our season is already fucked and that our squad is not good enough to win fuck all. Still next season will be different, no Champions League, no Cesc and probably no Arshavin

To be honest, I don't...but we had three game games, we just played shit today, that's...

The only thing that will work is if we win our next 8-9 games and then beat the other big teams at home and get 3-4 points at chelsea and liverpool.

But the odds of that happening are as likely as the press accusing gerrard or rooney of diving :(

I assume you meant we had three good games, that may be so but that was against three shit teams that were clearly worse than ours. First two real tests this season and we have come away with fuck all

But that's the whole point, why aren't we? It's got nothing to do with experience. We are not good enough, full stop. Doesn't that bother you wlchuccc?

In case you haven't noticed, we're 9 points behind a powerful and seemingly unstoppable Chelsea; 6 points behind defending champions Man Utd, who despite not playing great or deserving it, beat us last week and played well today; and a similar total behind City, who have a stronger squad then us. :banghead: :banghead:
Well I never do believe that we are going to win the league anyway...sad to say this but it is true...

Did you think that at the start of the 2003/04 season?

Even as a so called rosetinter ( ) the only positive I can think of from today was Rosicky's performance. He brought real quality to the side, when Diaby, Fabregas and Denilson were unable to.

Gutted about the result, but the peformance was shocking and we deserved a good spanking today, and duly got one!

Almunia was awful (AGAIN!), the defence didn't cope with the Citeh front 3, the midfield were terrible and created very little for the first 70mins, and we looked toothless in attack until we were 3 or 4 down.

Very worrying.

Worst still.... we've now shown in the last 2 games that we are capable of throwing away a match when we play well (v ManUre), and we've also shown that we're capable of being hammered when we play badly (v Citeh)

Talk of the title looks silly when Chelsea are 9pts ahead, even if they have played a game more, but even more worrying is that Citeh look a VERY good team... defensively, offensively, and collectively.

We now have 4 piss easy home games, with Fulham away sandwiched inbetween, so we now NEED to get our finger out and start winning matches!

I am gutted as one of your guys, but asking Wenger to leave now will solve our problem (sorry mrgnu)? I don't think so...

I think we just have a poor game in the end after the international week, if we could play some good football like our first 3 games, I still believe we could have a good season....Come on you gooners :barscarf: :barscarf:
We beat a dishevelled Everton and a crap Pompey. Celtic would be mid-table in the premier league so the 5-1 win was to be expected.

We lost to United despite being the better team. We lost to City who had 5 shots on target. Both those teams have decent points gap ahead of us and City will strengthen in January, our tight board won't. Spurs are getting better as are Villa,Everton and even Sunderland. We have an inconsistent Diaby, a dodgy Almunia an unprotected Fabregas , non top four player-Bendtner,average Denison, I could continue........Still feeling positive ? :?
I can't agree with you anymore.....Almunia should be dropped, too many mistakes in a big game, today was another proof.....

Well we all love Cesc, don't get me wrong, but I am not so happy with his body emotion today, he is our captain, why his head was always down today?! If he is interested to play for us, ok I wish you luck in Spain. We were still in a good position before today's match (even we were 1-0 down today), you can't excuse his motivation today, totally diagrace to the Fans!

Btw our second goal was because of his mistake, his ball was short for Clinchy to get in the counter-attack....he played shit today, that's

Drop Almunia for who? Mannone or Szczęsny? - the transfer window is shut and Flappy is injured, so I'm afraid we're stuck with Average-Al for some time yet!

It does...but you look at ManU or Chelsea, are they really that good? Yes they have a lot of good players, but they play shit all time. The difference is they always get three points while we don't :banghead:

Well he is too comfortable there...don't you think that at least a little bit of competition will help for his performance...three mistakes from Fullham, ManU and ManCity...

Couldn't agree more!

Almunia deserves benching as he's been shocking so far this season, but sadly Flappy showed last season just how raw he is, and presumably Mannone and Szczęsny are even more raw! (I wanted to say "rawer" instead of "more raw", but I don't think that's a word  :? )
