are we hypocrites?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I agree.

Away games are more boisterous affairs, and we don't want to totally kill the atmosphere.
Bloody hell what bollocks.

My dad's 66 when the *word censored* caming running at us he was sent face first over the seats and I was sent flying down the aisle. It's got nothing to do with atmosphere.

I have a huge bruise on my leg, another on my arm and a graze on my shoulder from where I smashed into a row of seats near the front.

A copper turned his back on me when I tried to complain.

*Injury update: I've also bruised my thumb :)*

Even Ashley isn't this stupid.

Got to look at MOTD again this morning on V+ but I thought I saw Steary in the middle of the surge. Can anyone confirm?

Totally agree. I hope all the "outraged from Tunbridge Wells" brigade are equally upset if Willy Gallas scores at Stamford Bridge and celebrates in front of the Chavs. Admit it - you'll all love it and would milk it for all its worth. And we would have loved it even more if the Sol man had done it at the Lane and he was their former captain

Double standards - get over it.

Agree- it wasnt the brightest thing to do, but in his mind I truly believe he thinks he did nothing wrong (I dont agree with that view), so he was just giving some back to everyone who had been slagging him off.

You cant spend the summer calling him every name under the sun (some justly of course) and get upset when he gives some back.

What exactly did you want to complain to a copper about? :awnker:

I bruised myself too, mate... but you're jumping down my throat over a misunderstanding

For what it's worth, I wasn't talking about the Ade situation but away games being more boisterous in general, and that's a good thing as it's the only thing we have left that resembles a terraced atmosphere.... so I was more referring to standing, and not sitting, at games without being moaned at from behind. In my opinion, you should go to away games expecting to stand for 90mins, and if you're unable too, then you shouldn't go, up simply put up with it.

Obviously the surge forward wasn't good, and I expect Ade to get punished for it... we agree on that.

We don't have terraces anymore because scousers think they're exempt from buying tickets.

That's the difference. Henry was passion for the game and match. Greedy well
