Dixon and Keown on MOTD2

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I'm a staunch supporter of fair play.

Somebody should have kicked a lump out of Greedybollocks. Well before kick-off.

thars why we will win fuck all with this team and manager. other teams will have watched this match and seen how soft and yellow we are. u just knew even at 1 each on saturday we would lose. we bottled it . we had 3 chances on the wing to take adecunt out and even fuked that up. if keown had been on that pitch he would have chased after the fuk after he scored and trailed his ass away from the arsenal end. its getting hard to watch these softys every week now

Anyone who watches the way horse face wets himself after missing the penalty and Keown,Lauren and Cashley lay into him will wonder how we have become such a soft bunch of jessies. In the old team even Pires showed he could be a dirty sod every now and then, if he lost the ball or felt he was getting to much attention from an opposition player.

Now we just complain when we get tackled instead of getting up, marking the guys card and doing him later.

At no stage in that game did I think we would win, even when we were on top. The sad thing is that's becoming a regular feeling. I don't mind losing but I hate all this gutless rubbish that we have to swallow.

I hate Cashley as much as anyone but the way that little prick Bellamy bullied Clichy off the ball when we were in a good attacking position and they got their 4th goal is a joke. We all know Cashley would have run back to catch up with him and scythe him down even if it meant a booking. All Clichy did was jog back....... :banghead: :banghead:

There was a great e-mail on SSN, it asked why Adebayor did not celebrate scoring the goal with either the City fans and/or his new team mates :?

It just shows what a self motivated twat he is. soaking up all the glory himself and cared more about sticking the knife in Arsenal rather than allowing the City fans to share the moment.

We have all said it for a few seasons that we haven't got a Vieira / Keown / Adams to show teams we can physically mix it at times. I'm still very pro Wenger but why hasn't he done something about it? It's surely bloody obvious and may be costing us points over the season.

Adebayor would not have been so cocky on Saturday if he feared a tough early tackle. Had he got one he may not have scored, nearly taken RVPs eye out or nearly broken Cescs ankle ...... may even have got a point out the game by keeping him quiet.
